You are always trying to push PVP how about some pushes for PVE. cause right now all exotic weapons mainly go through some sort of PVP. Not every single player like PVP, and not all players like to raid, so why make it that you have to do either or to get the best shit. We need down the middle equal ness.
For those who won't read other replies I have been doing as people bitch and complain. I do both PVP and PVE including raiding. Raids are NOT AN event it is content.
This is for those who won't say anything. To have PVP and PVE separated. Events for PVP and PVE should run at the same time. Bounties should never cross with PVP an PVE. Gear should be earned. Queens wrath was before the first iron banner and what do you know it's back first.

LoboFHにより編集済み: 11/19/2014 7:13:30 AMQueen's Wrath was a total failure, they need to make real new content if they want a worthy PvE event, the same missions with modifiers simply doesn't cut. Iron banner had easier solution to fix the problems of its first iteration, now it works great and I would suggest you forget all this anti-PvP bias and give it a go. Destiny got something right, PvP and PvE are mixed nicely, we get items in both modes that are useful everywhere, don't place artificial barriers. As others have said to you PvP players (and PvE players tired of raid randomness) can earn now level 30.

Copenにより編集済み: 11/19/2014 6:32:48 AMHeavy ammo glitch is still being used lol in IB. Wow what a total failure on Bungie's part. Loved eating rockets from the opposing team 5 minutes BEFORE heavy ammo spawned. It's amazing they can screw more stuff up despite trying to fix things.

6 通の返信I love PVP... I'm just really crap at it. Still got through the Bad Juju exotic bounty though, including the PVP part (a sane person might question the value of Bad Juju, but that is another story). I've tried and failed both the Thorn and Invective bounties because of the PVP component, so I'd like to see some bounties with PVE only completions one day. But I know that if I keep grinding Vanguard Tiger strikes that exotics will drop eventually - or I will learn to be less crap at the Raid one day :)

Screw pve.I couldnt stand Queens wrath. Nobody is forcing you to play IB there is literally nothing here you need that you cant get an equally good equivalent of in pve and yes the raid is a pve event it starts at midnight monday and runs until the following week on monday. Just because it never leaves does not make it not an event. You said that all exotic weapons mainly go through pvp. Name 1 exotic currently available that is earned only with pvp play. A few of the exotic bounties have pvp elements but in general they are more based in pve. Nothing xur sells is purchased with crucible marks. For sake of argument below is a general list of requirements for all 5 bounty exotics including both pvp and pve aspects. 1. Pocket infinity-go to venus find a ghost, kill a vex gatelord, dismantle 10 rare fusion rifles, kill 200 enemies in nightfall nope no pvp there. for this we will say had 2 definite pve parts. 2.bad juju- complete a weekly heroic or nightfall strike, complete any 25 strikes, buy something from xur, get 10,000 points from kills in crucible. 2 pve and 1 pvp task and unless you are completely incompetent the 10,000 crucible points was a lit faster than 25 freaking strikes. 3. Super good advice- open chests on mars, buy something from xur, kill 500 enemies with HMG's (can be done in either pvp or pve) 0 points for either 4. Invective- 5 strikes without dying, earn 25 point spread in crucible (kills+ assists are worth 1 point death -1 point) complete weekly challenge, buy a bunch of secondary ammo. 2 pve and 1 pvp task. 5 thorn- complete summoning pits, kill 500 points worth of hive enemies, get 500 points worth of void kills in crucible +5 per kill -2 per death. do a level 26 version of summoning pits and kill xyor. 3 pve activities and 1 pvp part. the grand total we have for exotic bounties is 9 pve required portions, and 3 required pvp portions and 1 that can be done in either mode and in all honesty the pvp parts dont even require you to go positive so really are they force feeding us pvp? I dont think so. Every other exotic is RNG and you can get them doing whatever you want so in conclusion your complaint about pvp is invalid. RNG sucks and this pvp event is the first guaranteed way to fill gaps in raid set armor. 90% of the game is based around pve. You want pve events? there are several every week. Nightfall- pve. Weekly heroic-pve. Daily heroic-pve. Weekly raid reset-pve. As much as I would love for the Queens fine ass to come back with those over regurgitated missions that we have all played 1000 times I am quite content with the Iron banner and getting my characters a solid chance of getting the armor they need to hit 30.

I think it's nice like this. I'm a PvE guy but, with IB, it keeps me playing PvP because I everything he has on sale (the boots the most to finally get 30). And I almost never play PvP so, I like it that way because I don't have to mess with 2 events at the same time. (I don't want to miss something!) But in understand PvP'ers only can get frustrating by this event.

4 通の返信If the public events were more expansive, and involved more than one item "fill in the blank", that would be interesting. A weekly public event involving 20-50 guardians fighting hundreds of enemies.

I do enjoy PvP and raiding but I know what you mean. I was expecting too much. I thought there would be dozens of hours of content in pve. Like skyrim. Still a fun game. It's loosing my interest though. And the expansion pack. Definetley not enough content.

Gorilla Warriorにより編集済み: 11/19/2014 3:38:28 AMI much prefer PvE too, but I can tell you right now I'm not going to be running the same old patrol missions over and over 6 months from now, let alone 10 years or whatever their goal was. The PvE content is just too shallow. I'm not entirely sick of it yet, and the updates and future dlc have me optimistic, but I know there's going to be a point where I'm just burned out of the same old same old shallow PvE content. At that point it'll be either adapt to PvP or say good bye. If anything is going to keep this game afloat, it'll be mainly PvP cause everyone will be bored of PvE other than weeklies
-
I'm all for improving the game, but this seems a little broad. Assuming that you don't consider the Raid, weekly strike, nightfall, or public events to meet you needs, what else would you propose? This isn't being said to be crass, but rather to try to encourage positive feedback for what Bungie could do to meet this unmet need.

CleverImpにより編集済み: 11/19/2014 3:27:22 AMI'm just going to state my opinion here. Yes. I do think bungie should be rolling out more pve events. These should include much more depth than what little the queen's wrath had to offer. However, there is nothing wrong with giving the pvp players something either. Personally, I am a pve player, and generally don't like the pvp component of most games. However, Iron Banner did tempt me to try something new and I AM LOVING IT! But, I know this isn't the case for everyone. Both pvp and pve needed some loving. In just over 2 weeks there is going to be the Dark Bellow expansion. So I can sate me pve desire until that releases.

I get what your saying but I think they dropped the ball on the first iron banner, copped a lot of complaints. So I think thats why its been re-launched as originally advertised before another pve event. Not saying they got Queen's Wrath right either but I think people were more vocal about the iron banner.
