first of all -blam!- all you elitist 30's... we did it with 4 29's and 2 30's. now this was probably my 15th raid total (first hard) and I only got the sparrow (not complaining about that) but some raid gear would have been nice. but this is mainly about those asshole elitist players that say a hard raid is impossible with 29's.

3 通の返信Dyalarにより編集済み: 11/16/2014 6:25:05 PMYou had a .9 k/d in your most recent raid event, by far the lowest in your team. That means you couldn't average killing ONE ENEMY on each of your attempts. In fact, you're bottom of the barrel statistically in every one of your raids. Yes, we can see the stats. Don't get carried and then come here puffing your chest. Pathetic.

deeにより編集済み: 11/17/2014 2:35:07 AMWe do the hard raid with three to four 29s and two to three 30s on the regular and it takes us two hours max right now (if the game is not bugging like it does sometimes). Most level 30 players can't handle their class, cause they've simply been lucky getting all their gear in a few runs. My level 30 clanmates will always choose me and my level 29 characters, cause they know that skill matters and 30 is just a number in most cases. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of the most skilled players out there, but I know how to do my job when it comes to the different stages of the raid.

2 通の返信Possible with 29's, but most lvl29 never done the raid and are -blam!-ing useless. I only play with people who have done the raid and know what they are doing, I don't mind running newbies thru the normal raid, but if you can't handle the normal raid don't try to join a hard raid.

1 返信I completed the hard raid when i was level 27 the highest player was 29 and that was only one guy, its not impossible if people know what there doing and if there experienced, but a higher level is really helpful because you do more damage.

3 通の返信Cool. I was one of the 29s in my group for hard raid the other night and I got the ship as well as mythoclast. Rngeezus smiled down upon me apparently.

1 返信Not impossible but I can only imagine how difficult that could have been with 4 players dealing/taking 25% less damage.

I'm a 29 warlock I've been through normal three times and have a max VOC max raid sniper and a max thunderlord. Never held the relic but I can hold my own with all the rest of the raid. I'd like to run normal a few more times then try hard. Sad thing is I fall off the -blam!-ing ledge at the jumping part five or six times before I get down to the gatekeeper and atheon.

Did it with 5 29s and a 30 last night. Started with 6 29s but one wasn't that good. If we had a better player behind the guardian we woulda been okay. I got the Sparrow, 3 energy, and VM from Atheon. I would've honestly been content with just the Sparrow as I've been looking to upgrade from my uncommon and buy a rare to boost. I was initially just trying for a raid chest or head, so VM didn't help me but I'm grateful I got it after hearing how many tries it takes everyone else.

Angel_Sorenにより編集済み: 11/16/2014 9:16:42 AMAs big of a difference it is being a level 30, I can honestly admit to anyone that I'd rather take skilled and experienced level 29's than level 30's. This is saying a lot cause I have a level 30 and I've been in situations where the level 30's in my group had no idea what they were doing. As much as people like to believe that numbers or classes make major differences, theirs no comparison when it comes to ones skill.

8 通の返信freewilddragonにより編集済み: 11/16/2014 9:36:31 AMWho said hard raid is impossible with 29's? My group welcomes 27's, 28's, 29's, and 30's. It's not about your level, it's all about teamwork and ability to listen and follow instruction when given that count, not level bro. I got my Hawkmoon from the Gorgon maze's chest and I was pretty stoked about it--after 51 runs, it finally gave it to me. I don't know what you are talking about. We had two 28's, two 29's, and two 30's a few days ago and we passed the raid on hard in one hour.

While I agree that is perfectly possible to do without any lvl 30's, it is far more difficult as a whole. If you're using a group of people you know well and play with often, then things should run smoother and much easier. However, if you have to PUG a group of randoms from DestinyLFG, the lack of familiarity increases the difficulty. So, it is safer to just be cautious and use characters that will take less and deal more damage naturally. Personally, I have very little faith in randoms. I dont trust them to do simple things like not use Golden Gun on Atheon himself, or to actually kill Supplicants in a timely fashion (seriously, hiding on the pillar, trying to shoot them is... dumb). So I'd rather go with a "better safe than sorry" mentality and grab as many 30s as I can muster.

1 返信NaveMにより編集済み: 11/16/2014 9:26:58 AMDefinitely not impossible just a lot easier. 4 30's would be ideal such that no matter which 3 get teleported there will always be a 30 inside to grab the relic. A lot of times it does not matter about skill, rather, the spread/placement of the enemies in the portals. When you get teleported to Mars it is pretty easy to do the relic if the hobgoblins are clustered together - 1 jumping shield smash can hit all 3. If they're all spread out on the other hand you will most definitely take 1 shot or more. THIS is when the 30's really become important. Same with Venus - if you can shield smash the praetorian and 2 goblins at the same time the goblins will die and you just finish off the praetorian. If they're spread though, you'll have to focus on killing the praetorian while the goblins shoot you in the back. A lot of times they're too far to the left or right of the stairs for the other two oracle guys to run down and help. EDIT: I think the real question is, if two people were equal skill and one was 29 while the other was 30, which would you rather take?
