There was this one raid that I found really funny. A friend and I were at atheon hard just messing around quietly when 4 people joined random talking all at the same time loudly. There was this girl controling the other 3 like a mother. Telling them hey you don't do this do that while the other went at atheon to shot him. One of them dies and wonders why he got one shot by atheon. Clearly the other 3 never saw atheon before. So the girl and two randoms gets teleported and we hear "OKAY I GOT THE RELIC! WHAT DO I DO?" Run around with it and dies. Someone realise it's hard mode and they all leave pretty much at the same time like they were a fireteam inside ours. So we just stand there like what the -blam!- happend ahahah.

Last night tried to do hard. Got to gatekeeper fine then a few people left. Some people came in that would not shut up (typical 'funny guys'). Kept talking about their diamond camos on cod. Kept Trying to no scope the gatekeeper. Spent 20 minutes with them trying to get them to actually try and do it before I left. Another time on normal, someone was obviously inexperienced but we made it to atheon fine. One person in the group was unimpressed by the new bloke so every time he got teleported the guy wiped on purpose. Felt bad for the new guy :-/ the new guy eventually left and the bloke invited his younger brother. This was a disaster. Neither really knew what to do. Another waste of time.

Ummmm ya. The raid helmets are hard mode only. Busted. Your story is now invalid and garbage. Congrats.

to many... 1. Posted looking for a fresh normal run got invited to a group telling me they are starting from the beginning just for it to start at confluxes and ignore me when i asked why we are starting here. Decided to not try and mess around after a couple wipes they start raging and bitching at me. The lvl 30 leading the group then proceeds to tell me im garbage at the game and have no idea how to do the raid and that hes an expert with his 30+ raid completions. I laughed and made them angry until they finally booted me. 2. Spending 4 hours with 3 separate groups trying to kill atheon post patch on hard first group being 3 29's, 1 28, and 2 30's including me. The 28 kept saying he could handle everything but kept going down almost all the time. Getting teleported was a nightmare every 29 was to scared to pick up the relic and kept saying we 30's were the ones that needed to do it. Yet even when we grabbed the relic they would fail at killing the oracles in time. Then when the 30's didn't get teleported they would either not even pick up the relic and fail or pick it up and die shortly after. Got to the point 2 of the 29's left saying we 30's were garbage and needed to learn how to use the relic so said f em and left. 2nd group was 4 29's and 2 30's the 29's kept bitching after every wipe and fighting between each other over what to do. Got to the point most of the group said they couldn't handle killing atheon and that it was to difficult so they all left. 3rd group was 3 30's and 3 29's yet again the 29's were to scared to pick up the relic and what do you know it teleported all 3 of them the majority of the time. Finally it teleported two 30's 3 times straight and we killed him. 3. Spending an hour helping a friend try to kill atheon on normal mode with over half the group being lvl 29. They kept playing like idiots and dieing over the stupidest things in the portal. 4. spending 2 hours trying to find a group to do a fresh hard mode run just to continuously get invited to groups looking for a 30 to help them get past gatekeepers and atheon. All the while telling me they are doing a fresh run before inviting me to the game and telling me oh well once we kill atheon we will do a fresh run i promise. Found a full 30 group shortly after did entire raid in 40 mins.

Hard mode, 3 30's, 3 29's. Now to make it clear we came damn close to killing Atheon a few times. It'd be around about that point some horrible glitch would pop it's head up and we'd wipe. Or we'd just plain -blam!- up. I don't claim to be the most skilled player. Unfortunately the longer we spent on atheon the less some people (naming no names or levels) wanted to pick up the relic. Most ports this wasn't such a problem as someone would pick it up, but every so often I'd hear "oh no, no-one picked up the relic" shortly followed by the entire team dying to oracles. All interspersed with most of the glitches we've come to know and love from Atheon. Eventually a guy just quit because he was sick and tired of seeing us wipe because if the wrong 3 were ported we would almost always wipe.

four level 30's who obviously got their gear by being carried and two 29's who were carrying the 30's could not beat atheon

My very first experience in the vault. Got invited to an Atheon check point, was asked to stay behind cover while most of the party tried to cheese the tiny dancer. After 20 mins of that not working, they left me somewhere on time.

Had a similar one yesterday which I tried my best to organise but people weren't listening. Luckily people started leaving at the oracles. I left, joined another group, which I could tell from the party lobby was going to much better. I ended up completing my raid set.
