I just want to know cuz there are a lot of ppl on here use profanity n putting others down over the #gaming post being in the wrong place.ive been called a idiot a moron ect cuz I asked every1 what they gotten out of the raid since gaming destiny under #gaming

The problem was mostly fixed yesterday, but it's gotten pretty bad again. I would really suggest certain measures be taken about this, since some seem to be either ignoring us, or acting entitled to post here however much they want, about whatever they want. 1. [b]Rename the Destiny app back to the Bungie app[/b]. This alone seems to be a large contributor to the problem, as people just assume all the forums are related to Destiny based on the app, even though that isn't the case. If the app was renamed back to the Bungie app, hopefully some of the confusion would be fixed. 2. [b]Change the description for #Gaming again.[/b] It's current description allows people to still claim they're in the right to post here about Destiny stuff. This should not be the case, as #Destiny and now #Recruitment exist for this purpose. The description should be changed to that of discussing games other than Destiny. 3. [b]Initiate bans for anyone who claims they're in the right to posting here and/or refuse to start posting elsewhere.[/b] These bans shouldn't be too severe. Maybe a couple hours to a day, but the message given for being banned should inform the individuals that they were posting in the wrong location, and where to post then on. 4. [b]Large moderator presence here until this all blows over.[/b] We can't do all of this ourselves. Users are more likely to listen to moderators who inform them about posting in the correct location and move their post than users who are telling them to do so. In a lot of cases, it's not as simple as just one person telling them to move their post and then everything is all sunshine and rainbows. 5. [b]IF AT ALL POSSIBLE Perhaps Achronos could whip up some sort of script that auto moves posts here to the #Recruitment forum if they contain certain key words and phrases like "Valut of Glass" or "VoG," for example.[/b] If this is something possible to do, I feel it would really help out a ton in cleaning up this place. Perhaps it could even auto-generate a message to the user that their post has been moved because they posted in the wrong location. These are just some ideas. I don't expect all of them to be implemented in any way. If you guys have better ones, go ahead and implement them. All I ask is that you don't just assume everything will fix itself in time, because it probably won't. We need your help still.

I don't see the problem with posting these things in these areas of the Forms. If it's called Gaming then why can't we talk about gaming in Destiny?

Well if this continues you're going to have start issuing bans, get rid of Gaming, or rename Gaming to recruitment VOG. Then rename the new forum to Recruitment CROTA. Either way it comes down to Bungie and you Community Manager. Do you want a forum that talks about gaming, or not? Make the hard choice and -blam!-ing get pissed and save -blam!-ing gaming. Or not. Seems some members really want to save it and have fought for it. They can only go so far though.

It's useless trying to convince some of these posters. They are literally posting raid requests just to get us mad at this point and when we point out that they shouldn't post here, they immediately insult us.
