Do you actually understand us Brits when your in a fireteam?
Every fireteam i've been in has only been with yanks, but they all understand me, even though sometimes I think some words sound alien to them.
I dont know, im bored at work
What stories do you fellow gamers have with this?

2 通の返信In the childish days of COD we were at war, it was good fun sometimes and took a serious turn others. On destiny however I feel there is a much more communal and social environment for the multicultural friendly users to enjoy. did get a racist redneck American in my fireteam the other day (I'm British) everyone else got along, but he said I sounded like a dick... Well up yours CUN7!! Go suck a fat one!! Haha It's all just a bit of banter right?!

1 返信I use to play a MMO with this girl who was from the UK. I had a hard time understanding her aLot of times. She did have such a sexy voice tho.

I could care less who I roll with, I'm American. I have found when Britts are in the group things tend to roll a bit smoother in the raid. I have no problems understanding or playing with most people, except squeakers.

1 返信No offense but I love playing with Brits cuz of the way you guys talk. The other night we heard a guys daughter yell at his other daughter to "piss off" the entire party lost it. Hilarious.

23 通の返信I've run quite a few strikes with Brits. I don't have any problems understanding them. I avoid certain words like "spastic" or "fanny pack" because of their (very) different meanings. I also like to remind them how we Americans completely kicked their butts fighting them in WWII!!! I say "just remember that WE won..."

Not related to gaming but the first time a Brit mentioned bunking to me I was a wtf are you taking about. I'm Australian and we say wag here. Also the best British saying I've ever heard would have to be "just shy a monocle".

I have played with a lot of Americans, Canadians and Europeans, I love the challenge and cultural differences. But, just the other day a random friended me and joined my fireteam, he was American and just kept going on about how my accent sounded funny like a puppet lol after about 10 mins of this I deleted him

Most of the Americans / Canadians we play with assume we are British at first. Not sure a South African accent is that well known stateside. I bet we're a little easier to understand though, especially in comparison to a thicker British accent!

My best raid group is with 4 people from the UK. I understand them fine & I like the way they say certain words like 'minotaur' or even my name 'fernando' haha. I've also started to say -blam!-s sake because of them lol. They're a cool bunch. I've been raiding with them since the beginning too pretty crazy
