Seriously it's easier doing it solo. Just make sure you bring the proper elemental weapon maxed out and you can take down the place no problem in 20 minutes or so.
The strike scales according to how many people are in your group, and if they don't have the proper weapons you will only be slowed down. Only problem is not dying, which isn't hard if you don't make stupid mistakes.

4 通の返信I call bull on your 20 minutes. You still have to go slow enough to ensure you don't die. On another note, some people have MORE fun running in groups.

weaverにより編集済み: 11/13/2014 6:18:32 PMIf you play Titan or Hunter, that one death sends you to orbit and all that time is wasted. Last night I was doing just the weekly heroic on my Titan and a dreg one hit killed me , if it had been nightfall I would have felt pretty bad.

AJIc3CoLdにより編集済み: 11/13/2014 6:04:58 PMIt's easier to do solo but it's not as if with a group it's exponentially harder. I tend to solo for myself but always jump in with others afterwards to help, it's much more fun with people. P. S. They need to increase the experience gain or add a bit more incentive to do it with groups though, kind of like how Diablo does. Even a boost in glimmer would be nice, anything really. I think there should still be a standard rep gain (+25 or +31) similar to a normal strike beyond the initial completion.

If you look at most of the posting (if not all) on how-to solo a given nightfall - they all specifically state to use "X" exotic and it's easy-peasy. Not all of us have said exotics just sitting on our vaults. Don't get me wrong, I like a good challenge, but I also enjoy a good run with my fellow guardians and running a Nightstrike with a fire team is the best of both worlds - at least to me. I tip my hat to those people that run solo and will recognize their accomplishments, but I just prefer to do it differently. enjoy

2 通の返信I find the loot seems to be better when a fireteam of three plays from the start...however I usually solo because I'm on xbone and my friends are mostly on ps4!! Looking for half an hour on the forums for a fireteam just isn't worth the hassle!!! On this note; matchmaking for nightfall please bungie (with the option to turn it off if you want to solo) - it's not that hard when the majority of the community is doing it solo - so the reason of it is too hard for incoherent teams is rubbish!!!

I always solo and if someone needs the Buff and drop from my guild I'll invite before I last shot the boss. On a side note.. What's up stud? Up for a hard vog run tonight? I've run through twice just need to get the Titan through.

3 通の返信Yes because investing 30min and dieing at the end by a melee fluke is totally worth it. Not only that but you can help other people out. Makes sense doesnt it.

I'm a lvl 30 with only one maxed out weapon (not elemental) I don't like to grind weapon levels or just upgrade one at a time. I know more people equals more health but they take a long time and I don't wanna be talking to myself so I talk to others. I also would like some room for error I don't wanna die and have to slam my head against the table in frustration I want someone there to revive me and we can keep goin. With a group I've never wiped a nightfall but alone I guarantee I would have -blam!-ed up at least once

The difficulty of Nightfall strikes is definitely skewed at the moment. It can be a lot more fun to run with friends (assuming everyone's competent and nobody's being an unintentional boat anchor), but in terms of how easy it is to complete the mission, solo all the way. Shouldn't be like that IMO. Solo should be do-able but really hard, party should be a little easier with competent teams. Right now I feel like it's still harder with competent teams, just much more fun since you can chat and troll the game while playing.

I agree. I would much rather solo em. Way easier. But i always get the boss down to a few shots left and invite my buds who aren't as geared out or a high of a level or honestly aren't as versed at fps games. I do it multiple time a week

They are much easier to do solo if you are the same level or above the level of the strike. The more players present, the more resilient enemies become due to scaling. I can understand players whose level is lower than that of the strike team up with others, because it does make it a little easier. I think the main reason that people choose to run it with a group is the Nightfall modifier (returning to orbit). Not everyone can solo nightfalls without dying. It may seem easy to you and me, but we have to remember that we can't speak for everybody.
