I run the raid over and over on 3 characters on each, Yet I am still to get the raid drops I need to make one lv30
I do not understand why a level 30 thinks they are a better player, they were just luckier than others. Whenever I run the raid with 30's they die more than me and are arrogant to say the least.
Being 30 doesn't mean you are better, give the guys that don't get lucky with the RnG a chance, there are many like me that would be an asset to most fire teams.

7 通の返信What the -blam!- did you just -blam!-ing say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the -blam!- out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my -blam!-ing words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, -blam!-er. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re -blam!-ing dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your -blam!-ing tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re -blam!-ing dead, kiddo.

2 通の返信You "ARE" an asset at 29..... on normal raid. Now step aside little dude 30's fighting over here.

Ha! Did hard mode last night from Gatekeepers on with one other 29 and the rest 30's. I died once because I was dinking around after the multitude of wipes caused by THE 30's. Started noticing that I tended to have the most kills on the boards. Guess what? First time at hard mode too. Why aren't I 30 yet? Because I haven't seen one piece of raid gear (except what others get) out of 60+ chances...just unlucky I guess. 30 doesn't mean squat. Yeah, you do a little more damage in the raid or you can take a couple more hits...big deal. I'd rather take skill any day over some people who got carried or got lucky. Thanks.

5 通の返信flyyにより編集済み: 11/13/2014 8:47:43 PMLet's break this down in an unbiased way without getting emotional. First, I'd like to say I have yet to hit 30 on either of my characters. The hard raid is completely doable as a 29. 4 30's and 2 29's don't make a bad raid team, BUT a team of all 30's will TYPICALLY (that means not all of the time for all of the 29's with 40 maxed out weapons, or plainly outclass 30's with just skill and knowledge) do it faster than any other combination. The leveling system is designed so players can't just level grind on Dregs until they make it to max level. The light system gives players much more overall play time by making them work for better gear. And yes, that gear is randomly dropped and you only get 2 or 3 chances a week to grab it. This makes up for lack of content that is out right now. Destiny plans to be around for awhile, not just pump out a new one once a year like CoD, so they had to take preventative measures to ensure that the players would be busy with something while they worked on DLC's. If we were all level 30's, Bungie would have much bigger problems than forum rants, they would have bloggers, reviewers, and magazines up their "rear end" talking about how easy Destiny is, and how getting to level 30 isn't even fun because EVERYONE is a 30 and it doesn't provide any sense of fulfillment. Now if you ever took any form of math, you can tell that 30 is higher than 29, so YES that makes a level 30 CHARACTER superior. But, skill isn't measured, so a level 29 PLAYER can still be better than a PLAYER with a level 30. So in the end we all need to remember that a CHARACTER is different from a PLAYER. Gear doesn't mean skill, but skill CANNOT ALWAYS make up for a lack of gear. Add me on 360 for raids or weekly stuff, I'll always help if I'm not busy. GT Fly Mcnasty (in case you can't see the top of this post anymore)

I've noticed those people suck but won't admit it. They typically blame everyone else for something gone wrong and have anger issues. That's why they need full level 30's to win. They need people to carry them through the raid. As a level 30 myself, I stay away from those people. They are a disgrace to destiny raiders.

1 返信It's nothing personal it's the damage output and intake on a lvl 29 vs a lvl 30 Lvl 30 takes more damage and deals more
-
1 返信The damage increase output and input is 20-40% (dont recall how much exactly) from 29 to 30 But i always run raid with 3 30's and 3 29's and we always do good, (damn confluxes only part we struggle at) but i digress, 29's that are good over a clueless 30 any day

1 返信Bask in my superior light peasant. You should be lucky to be graced by my mere presence in the tower, let alone raid with me. ...Am I doing it right?

83 通の返信vXdeadstarXvにより編集済み: 11/13/2014 6:33:58 PMI disagree with this to a pretty large extent, to be honest. Are there definitely 30's out there who've gotten extremely lucky in the raid? I'm sure that there are. But, as someone who has a character of each class at level 30, let me be real with you. I've done as many as five hard mode raids in a week for loot before; what that means? Running the raid on hard three times, deleting a character, making a new one, doing it again. Then doing that process again for a second time in a week; so, I feel like I deserve to have the characters I have; nobody is going to tell me that it's all RNGesus and his gang of baddies holding you down; if you do something random for a long enough amount of time, you're going to get what you're looking for; if you don't have the time or dedication to run hard mode several times a week, and you haven't been doing that since within a week or two of when the raid released, then I don't think your QQing about raid drops holds any water. Am I more useful in the raid because I'm level thirty; strictly speaking, yes. I do more damage, take less damage from enemies. Also, in this specific situation, I have put in the time and effort to get my characters geared, and that's meant a lot of experience on HM. So, if I get in to a game with some whiny level 29 with one raid piece who's K/D ratio is a fourth of mine and they QQ the whole time about the strats we're using or whatever, yeah, I'm gonna rail this dude, cause not only does he not put in the time, but he doesn't have the skill, and he's probably got an IQ equivalent to that of a dog turd. Everyone I know personally who's put in about as much time as I have... they have multiple classes at 30. Everyone I know personally who casually plays a couple days a week doesn't, and there's more going on there then RNGesus; it's a lack of commitment to wanting to be the best. I get that people have lives, jobs and families, but if you know that's a responsibility you have, then don't get on here and QQ about RNGesus; the bottom line is that you play less, you have other distractions, and you're probably not going to be in the 1% here on Destiny; the best-geared, and most skilled players. So, enjoy the time you do have to play, and don't waste it QQing on a forum about your loot drops and a perceived injustice in elitism, which exists, because you know, it's true. Level 30 characters do more; zip the lip and accept that's the way the game works. P.S. For those of you who don't like how this game works, I'm sure the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare community would be more then happy to have you. Don't let the door hit ya in the arse on the way out.

1 返信Being level 30 technically means you are more equipped to do the raid on hard. Yes, I know that there are tons of people who are amazing at the raid and are lvl 29, but the damage reduction is pretty important, often making the difference between killing oracles and praetorians and dying. But I agree, a lot of 30s are overly arrogant, and they can't even use the relic

5 通の返信I did a raid with a level 30 last night, he spent more time floating around as a ghost than shooting enemies lol.

Minus 30% damage dealt Plus 30% damage taken It's not personal. Some teams just don't have enough skilled players to make up for a 29 in the group. I'd happily run with 3 level 29s... After that it gets a bit annoying unless you have high skilled guys.
-
While there may be an issue with that with a small portion of the thirties I think it has more to do with the vast pool of people who just ... can't raid. They don't follow instructions despite being told what to do three or four times in a row, after dealing with that in hard mode for a bit you'd be put off on it too. Mosty because in Hard mode 29's do less damage and take more. So you die a lot easier than others.

I know how you feel. Today was the very first time I done a hard raid, I was at level 29.5. My friend invited into his saved atheon and we beat him. The only thing I wanted was the kabr helmet and I got it, that's luck. I didn't want the vex mythoclast, I wanted the helmet. It's all luck based
