Why on earth are you jumping into cheese spots for level 24 strikes?
Seriously. They're all made of paper compared to you. Stop being a pansy and fight them properly, it's a lot quicker.
Edit: didn't realise there were so many precious little flowers around here. Level 30s dying on strikes, whatever next? *shakes head*

1 返信XD omfg!! Coincidence I came across a 29 & 30 who were awful on a lvl 26strike. They died so many times and could only corner shoot to kill enemies slowly XD i wonder how many high lvl players are actually noobs in disguise

3 通の返信To my knowledge and I could be wrong as I thought Bungie "leveled the playing field" that you do and take the same amount of damage on a 24 Strike as a Level 24 character would. I don't have the means to test this, but if someone does I'd be VERY interested in the results!

1 返信achwassollsにより編集済み: 11/14/2014 1:08:46 PMuse the power of reading and learn about DAMAGE NORMALISATION. and why a high level 28 can take more hits than a low level 30

5 通の返信The ledge above the entrance to Aksor's area for example; constant output of damage without taking any yourself. Much faster and safer. No one plays the game for the sentimental experience anymore, we've all done everything, we've seen it all, we just want to get it done.

2 通の返信Nobiにより編集済み: 11/13/2014 2:08:39 PMThe damage is scaled regardless if you are 30 to 25. If you are thinking about higher levels should not die in strikes I lol at you. Why? Cause of rng. Which nullifies any metric of leveling here. Assuming lvl 29 or 30s played this more than 28s or 27s and are more experienced can only be assumed if this game actually applied scaling ...which sadly it does not. Cause it's god damn casual. I personally knew a lvl 28 who lead raids for 30s and 29s because he could not get warlock boots and chest piece. With over 50 raid completions. And higher lvl cheesing proves my rng point. They were lucky. Lvls in this game is not an accurate account or measure for experience.

4 通の返信Because bungie balances everything, so lvl 29 - 30's do the same amount of damage and take the same amount damage as lvl 24 - 25 guardians. If hiding behind cover so you can deal significant amounts of damage to a boss is wrong then how do you Play? Do you run around dodging bullets and dying?

3 通の返信You remind me of the old military tactics where opposing sides would line up facing eachother and then fire repeatedly until it was over... Smart... Asymmetrical warfare. Read about it

1 返信Sometimes I die a lot in tiger strikes with different gear on (so I look like a lvl 27) so people try to carry me. Then at the end I change my gear to become a 30 right at the end and the other 2 players always stop and look at me... Then I see the dots above their heads (meaning they are looking at my gear). Makes me laugh.... I have to keep entertained somehow, since I've beaten phogoth so many times I think I've extinct the ogre race.

I thought it was very silly to see level 30s in cheese spots. That's why I make it my goal to get those guys killed. Sometimes I don't even need to help them actually, they do it themselves. The cheese has holes.

7 通の返信Yeah, this happened to me today. I just don't understand the need to hide in the Mars strike or any other. I was fighting the boss today on a tiger strike at winters run. I felt alone, and I began to wonder where BOTH of my teammates went. And surprise surprise they are BOTHA hiding under the little platform trying to snipe the boss, they were lvl 28 and 29 too. I was just amazed that they needed to use that method during a freaking tiger strike! I can understand using it for nightfall but tiger!? People please.

1 返信Un1337ninj4により編集済み: 11/13/2014 2:40:04 PMTHANK YOU! I actually played with a level 30 gent yesterday, who had never fought the Templar in a legit fashion. He also died far too frequently... (I myself being a 30 I get pissed when I see this, (Hunter, just got me Raid helm to finish the set so I'm building that back up.))

9 通の返信Because the tiger strikes guarantee rare engrams...which means possible legandaries and strange coins. Just because we are higher level doesn't mean we cant do strikes. I'm sorry that we don't want to the do the raid on hard or the nightfall over and over and over again just because they're more equal to us in power.

I understand where the OP is coming from. As a 29 (waiting on raid gauntlets) the thought of cheesing on lower level strikes does leave a bad taste in my mouth. I do cheese where necessary (soloing 28 missions/strikes) but with a full team, it's unnecessary. However, I would never try to dictate how others play the game, and don't think bad of them, as long as they are contributing and dealing damage. It all helps.
