2 通の返信i do that if anyone is somewhat close on the map. they never come though. also i don't understand people who clearly can see you struggling to get to the chest and still don't wait for you. now why you gotta be like that

2 通の返信the only problem is some people are just arseholes and don't point to the chests or materials and just take them. When i find a chest or material i will point at it and then wait a good minute or two before taking it

2 通の返信Can we please just get a text chat feature? One that is based on the planet you're on (or the Tower). It would make it a lot more fun in my opinion, if I'm gonna grind my day away I would certainly like to see what possible witty banter I could come across from other players!

2 通の返信Yeah that's something I've been wondering myself. I found a chest in Mars and there were people nearby, and I thought: Eh I think I'll share, one of them might get lucky and get something nice :) But when I pointed at the chest, it just said, "SplinterCellz88 points". So I tried waving to them, and shooting at them, but they just left. - , - Which was ashame cause when I opened it I got a legendary engram, a decoherent engram and blueprints for the Fangs of Nyx. If the dialogue said, "SplinterCellz88 points to loot" I'm sure they would've gotten something just as equally as good.

4 通の返信I have noticed that pointing at chests when people around often leads to better loot. Or maybe that is just wishful thinking. Either way I OCD and point every time I find a chest and other players are near. I should probably start chanting to RNGesus too. 1 返信If i have to farm another 64 helium people better stay out of my way or i will sparrow the shit out of them ;) The material loot system is a real pain in the ass.

1 返信would be helpful, but also a mixed bag. I will be doing a chest/resource farm run, round the chest spawn points, if I'm desperate to level an item. And some guy starts following me, fine by me, normally do the patrols at the same time, so my pace isn't that hard to keep up with, and i am happy to show some one else my route as we can both grab the loot. Yet he starts wandering off and I'm there waiting by the chest, gestures gallore, he finally comes, i go to the next cave another chest, he wanders off again. I think sod it, you can follow me or you can do your own thing I'm not going to wait 3 minutes for each chest, i have another 62 spirit bloom to get, he can catch up or gnosh off. But you know what would happen. I'd point at the chest with the new system, and go on my merry way, and some one would come running over from half the map area away and not know where i was, then id have to show them, then they would run off, id find another chest, another point and wait, in the end the same thing would happen. Id point then leave them to it. Or worse look like i'm trying to ninja a chest because i don't point it out to some guy who was nearby and he thinks im trying to be a douche

So now if the guy is a relative noob, aka low grimoire score then I point, dance, shoot, jump up and down, teabag you name it. Guy just sits on ground, I go up to him dance, point, shoot at chest guy just looks at me. I play Lassie I shoot at chest, then run to chest, dance and shoot at him, he sits on ground still looking at me! So I bite the bullet and msg him, finally he comes the chest. I get a reply, "thanks Bro".

Lol, I've learned when out on patrol, if someone dances, then points, 9 out of 10, it's a chest. I run over, investigate, and if it is loot, I always wave as a thank you courtesy. I've started doing the same, dance then point when I find a chest. Some come and see, but most just sparrow away

Yes! Agreed, this would be a great change. Pointing and waving should be able to target players, enemies and objects anyway. (Waving would be more for fun, but nevertheless). Being able to point at cover spots would be cool too in order to coordinate with those you can't chat with via headset.
