I don't know if this has already been posted, but I thought this was great;

'Fellow Guardians,
Yesterday I had a post talking about my husband and his Doctor recommending Destiny to serve as a form of physical therapy for him following several brain surgeries. This community was amazing, and raid groups are being organized for him out of all the people who offered to help him.
But just as amazing, Deej contacted me and has sent my husband a care package from Bungie that is on the way. Then this morning, a message from Deej told us to have my husband check the post master. Lots of screaming ensued.
He has been sent the exotic gun Fate Of All Fools, a solar primary that is currently thought to be released in the upcoming Trials of Osiris-- and if not then with the next DLC.
Vision of Confluence had been my husbands dream weapon, as scout is his favorite and he wanted that solar damage. A more perfect weapon could not have been chosen. I'm so jealous, but mostly so damn happy for him. As for him-- well, you can imagine :)'

what a great story! I hope he recovers to full memory capacity and goes on to do great things. Furthermore, I applaud Bungie for showing such a specific act of kindness. Makes me feel good that i bought a game that supports a company that has true "corporate responsibility and morale compass".

Nicely done, it a little gift. What can do wonders. I hope you guys feels suported and after lots of shit happinging in any body live. I hope they get in some form or from other people the same. The little thing matter!

All of you idiots criticizing this are cancer yourselves. That's like saying, "MAKE-A-WISH CAN'T ACCOMMODATE EVERY DYING CHILD, SO THEY SHOULD NOT ACCOMMODATE ANY!" Hey Bungie, hire an Illness/Trauma Verification Officer and all of these sockcuckers pass the test, they get a shader/ship/gun of their choice!

I wish your husband a speedy recovery! Thank you for posting and good luck with the raid and enjoy. Please just ignore the negative posts. Bungie, thank you for doing this small and kind gesture. Damned if you do, and damned if you don't. I just want to say I am addicted to playing Destiny (trumps over my candy crush addiction) and looking forward to what's in store for the future. Sincerely, Ashley

62 通の返信So instead of committing to the game and paying over $150 for it, all I have to do is get brain surgery and claim I'm using this game for therapy and I get an exotic no one in the world has? That's stupid as hell.

1 返信Thats so cool - how is it though? The 7 round mag seems a little low but how is it? what are his thoughts on the weapon? I really would like to have that gun as well - Having been the victim of a drunk driver hitting me head on, I had my recovery for a couple months in the same manner - so I know exactly how much having an awesome game(s) to play really does make a difference. Wish him a speedy recovery and CONGRATS!!!!! on the gun!!!!!!!

IDeeKにより編集済み: 11/7/2014 5:35:25 PMPlease someone close that thread. Can't stand this fckin morons down there. Seriously, this is so dumb, this community is full of CoD kiddies that whine about anything which is done to the game! However, this is a great story! Not all gaming companies would've done that. I think it's fantastic and deserves more respect!

1 返信This is exactly one of the reasons I really enjoy playing Destiny. Because, in spite of all the people who LOVE to find something to complain about (because they have literally nothing better to do) there's always dozens more people that are cool, chill, and love to help with anything, ever. The best part is they're all friendly as hell. :) I hope your husband successfully recovers and his life returns to normal as soon as possible. Sounds like he had a hella-rough time.

If u were to recover from something as traumatic as this guy id give u a damn gun. Until then shut your -blaming- mouths and pray for this man. He needs your support, not your dumbass opinions and hate.
