DEEJ's Top 4 Answers
1.- Thanks for your feedback. We're listening.
2.- It's being debated. We'll see.
3.- Answers your question with and unrelated question.
4.- Placating words of nothing.
I have yet to see one response from DEEJ that wasn't a complete deflection of the issue, or a non-committal answer. Is yes or no really that difficult? "Dear DEEJ, we would like X,Y,Z. Here is a long list of valid reasons we want X,Y,Z." DEEJ's response? See answers 1-4. DEEJ is listening, he just isn't hearing. Listen closely to this one..... DON'T ASK FOR FEEDBACK IF THE DEVS HAVE NO INTENTION OF IMPLEMENTING ANY OF IT.

6 通の返信This is kind of the last straw, for me. I want to get on to these forums and find quality, constructive feedback. I don't really see that anymore. This poster got on and started complaining about the COMMUNITY MANAGER of a video game. Basically, he said that he's a set of automatically-generated replies. So Deej replies in a very clever and ironic way, that implies that he actually understands your point. It was a very lucid response. But because you guys are so spoiled and immature, you rip into him because you can't get his message through your head. Is it really that black and white? Do you need him to get on his knees and gravel to you for spending your sixty dollars on a product that was developed by the company that he represents? Seriously, this community used to be nice and enjoyable, and now when I get on, it's flooded with " Who can't wait for the new COD?!" and "Who's leaving Destiny for Halo?!" Get over yourselves. If you don't like the game, then don't play it. Nobody else that plays it will miss your piss-poor attitude. It's a video game. All of you should be grateful that there is even a public forum for suggestions and criticism that they listen to. Think about the last time you could do that for a video game that you didn't like, or thought could be better. The entitlement that exudes through every pore of the feedback thread is appalling. ALSO. General rule of life: If you don't want somebody to be rude or catty to you, then you probably shouldn't be a dick to them. Food for thought.

a year goes by and things are much worse than they were when the OP posted this. Deej never improved, and was replaced by a clone that is no better. Bungie went from being a hero company , to becoming the poster child for everything that is wrong in gaming. Oh btw, Halo 5 multiplayer absolutely crushes Destiny in every way shape and form. the campaign is weak , but the multiplayer is everything destiny could have been if only they could get rid of bungie management. in fact I am wondering, does anyone even play destiny PVP anymore?

2 通の返信Dude, the guy doesn't run Bungie. His job is to take this abuse and to provide spin. He's a PR guy. You're yelling at the wrong people. The more you let DeeJ or Cozmo absorb your anger and become the enemy, the better job their doing. Honestly, what do you expect to happen? Do you think he's gonna stroll into his meeting with a binder of angry fan comments and let his bosses have it?

4 通の返信Deejs response to this is the best thing I've ever seen him do. Perfect blend of sarcasm and admitting you're right. He's admitting he doesn't give a shit and it's likely due to all this unnecessary toxicity. Who the hell could possibly take the forums seriously? Like, even for a salary?

What should he say? "Well I haven't brought it up yet but I was going to go home and program some matchmaking and better RNG drops, was just gonna surprise everyone this update". Cause that's never gonna happen!

3 通の返信I won't bag on D but he's doing his job. And it sucks that he can't give straight answers. Yes it frustrates us all but I'm sure if he was allowed to say everything I'm sure he would. Think about it like this, no matter what company and the position u hold, there will always be higher ups and they will never talk about anything they will always try and hide everything. Unless u are the top boss but then u will be doing the same to ur employees. Not just that but u know jobs don't really allow u to talk about what goes on behind closed doors. So give the poor guy a break.

3 通の返信Don't get mad at DeeJ, he doesn't pull the strings he is the best thing we got to help. He's limited in what he can say and bashing on him will only make him not want to help us. So instead of criticizing everything, start throwing ideas out and maybe destiny will become better. Stubborn little kid!!!

If he answered directly, and then development wasn't able to deliver, whose ass would be on the line for making a promise that couldn't be kept? There's a reason why his answers are always vague and non-commital. I don't know about you but if I had a horde of angry, self-entitled trolls ready to crucify me at the drop if a hat, I'd choose my words carefully and avoid specific answers too.

He always answers childishly, i remember this one person simply suggested that we be able to opt out of visible helmets in the field, and deej attacked him saying stuff like "if you want your pretty little face protected, you have to wear a helmet" or something to that effect, but the whole base of the response was along the lines of "-blam!- your opinion, shut up" that doesn't seem professional to me

Your #4 is subjective. You can choose to put every comment by DeeJ as #4 if you wanted do; that doesn't mean he's doing his job. I would like him to stop speaking like a politician and just give straight answers, but I'm not going to judge him unfairly either...or at least pretend #4 is anything but bias based.
