They have already said its coming back, but acknowledged it needs a lot of work. In the daily update where they first mentioned the planned changes to iron banner, they stated that queens wrath was going back in the oven for a bit, or something very similar.

Any reason in particular? Queens wrath was a broken event that made no sense! Do bounties to then run one of 3 missions to be rewarded with one of 2 items. I made it to rank 3 and the new weapons were OK, but nothing special. The only great thing from that event IMO was the pimp cape and the prism dancer shader. (And the pink hand cannon ;-) )

I liked it simply for the fact that it was a PvE event. Granted you're right though, it does need some more thought and effort put into it. I just can't stand crucible, therefore crucible events are useless and frustrating to me. I wore the Queen's chestpiece forever too, lol.

What about the intangible, devout and sublime reward gained for loyal service? For selfless dedication to something greater than merely lust for material items? Yeah...I wore the chest and helm for quite a while and The Supremacy sniper rifle is awesome! Didn't get the ship, but who gives a damn...not like the ships have any affect on the game whatsoever...they're just skins.
