I want some kind of official opinion on this kind of practice. I am currently doing the exotic bounty for Bad Juju on the off chance that when it is buffed it becomes a good gun. So of course I have been doing the complete 25 strikes part of it.
I have done 7 in a row so far and 6 of those 7 some guy runs past every single enemy that he can and waits at the next checkpoint while the other guy and me are stuck killing everything along the way. I have no problem killing everything. At this point the level 24 adds are like tissue paper. What gets me is the fact that the idiots running ahead are not actually taking part in the strike that they themselves queued for. They are simply sprinting past everything and avoiding any real gameplay unless they have no choice.
Why should other people or myself have to carry these guys through the strike simply because they are too lazy and impatient to actually do their part? You have stated on many occasions that thi sis meant to be a team game and yet these people are in no way taking part in the team strike unless they positively have to. One of the guys that ran ahead finished with 8 kills. Meanwhile I finished with over 100 kills. Then on the boss fight the guy simply went afk and made the random I was with and myself finish off Phogoth on our own. Once again its not a question of difficulty its a question of principle. I queue for strikes because I enjoy playing the game as well as earning all the rewards that come along with it. I don't want to have to carry people who don't even participate in the strike itself.
Why should this guy get all of the marks, rep, and rewards at the end when he in no way took part in the strike itself?
You guys HAVE to know that this is going on. Either make it to where people can be kicked or make it to where you have to wipe the entire strike before it can be completed.
I am done helping the people that do this. I will either leave and let them finish it themselves or do my best to make sure the strike takes as long as possible. I am not gonna go out of my way to avoid playing the game that I paid for. I get running past low level adds that are in transition areas, but running past enemies that are leveled to the strike itself is just lazy.

I dont do strikes except the weeklies and bounties. Level 24 stuff is too easy. I wanna get it done as fast as possible. Keep up, finish quick and you can run a strike your way. If your in my strike you follow my lead.

insecureratにより編集済み: 11/10/2014 6:25:29 AMIf Deej comments on this for Bungee, I would be surprised. Everyone has said before, if you have "get 25 Strikes" bounty, its dumb to move slow. If you are trying to get rep or marks, the same. The mission stories you killed mobs to level up. Post 20 you need gear an the mobs don't do it. Blues, in my experience, not enough to matter 1 maybe 2. The end mission rewards, and many rapid attempts, are the most rewarding. Just my opionion and I run with a fire team that does the same, most of the time. If you want to move slow, Just watch, i'll rush past and IF im not on a mission I might go slow with you. Matchmaking is awesome, yes?

1 返信Why is something like this even an issue. If you dont like the way other people play find some like minded people to play with. If im farming vanguard marks i dont wana spend time shooting every last enemy for the same amount of marks. I will run through and complete it as fast as i can so i can get my marks and purchase the items i want. There are times where i will shoot every last thing that stand but its usually when im with a group of friends and we are just playing and wanting to shoot things and have a good time. Everyone has their own way they want to play. Just because you dont like the way someone plays doesnt mean they are wrong for playing like that. They are probably having fun in their own way.

Here's a solution: start a fireteam with friends or even strangers that want to run strikes the same way. Stop relying on MM and random pugs and then complain that they don't play the way you want them to. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

1 返信Bro he doesn't give a shit about us. Or any of our complaints. Nor does bungie help. They just give the bullshit excuse that they are working on it. Sorry man. No reply from them. But I say lol them all. Get as many engrams as possible. I got, no shit, 3 legendary engrams from killing everything when my team ran on and I was like ha suckers. Then I stopped playing for the night. I already knew my luck had run out.

1 返信Same happens in random events. I have been in so many of them with people just watching me killing the target, the walker, defending warsat or defeating extraction teams. They only have to shoot the enemies once to be registered inside the event and get the price at the end.

5 通の返信While I vehemently oppose people who join strikes and AFK for the whole thing, I don't see running through them an issue. You don't get any better rewards for killing every single enemy, and at this point most players have run the same strikes dozens of times. As the Strikes themselves are no longer engaging us, the only reason we're playing them is for the rep / engrams to level up our Faction / Cryptarch. The faster we can do that the better!

I think there are parts of each strike to skip ahead of and there are parts where you should kill everything. Example on the archon priest strike. After the pikes spawn I blast past the Minotaurs and Harpies and go straight to the double gate keepers.

People are in it for the end rewards. If they wanted random drops they'd be playing patrol. If you don't like how randoms play then get two friends to run them. I usually play with a fire team off my friends list, so I know I won't have to rush through a strike. To be honest though, you probably annoy them just as much.

2 通の返信The only reason to do any strike playlist is to get shed loads of engrams. Its only really useful for leveling an alt character by the time you start raiding. I myself try to run past everything when my strike team are on the same page, otherwise I kill everything and switch the engrams to my hunter. 25 sapphire wire per upgrade is a bit steep.

Couple things: 1) Don't expect teamwork through matchmaking. You hardly get paired up with guardians worth their salt. 2) If running ahead is an available action, then its going to happen. On a lighter note, this opinion is unbiased. I like to kill as many enemies as possible during a strike. I don't like to rush ahead either but its going to happen. You either get pushers, late joining, or those that just expect you to carry them all the way through. Just do what I do. If they don't play correctly, find people who will.
-
1 返信In most cases if they can run ahead then so can you. Enemies on this game don't give much chase, honestly with that bounty you should be rushing through strikes.

If you're that hard up to farm trash mobs, do patrols. Each planet has good spots to farm constantly spawning suckers. In a strike I'm comfortable doing either, provided the other two are doing it (fast or slow) I however will always speed if someone else is. Rngesus doesn't favour my engrams imho.

5 通の返信I don't fight every enemy all the time, and i skip sometimes. But evry now and then I'll take my time What i hate is if im taking my time killing most stuff with the bounty to not die on a strike, and some douche runs way ahead and kills himself in a darkness zone to pull me to him

1 返信I wish, in every area of life, people would just stop trying to control others. I think that would be awesome. They ran ahead? Join them. Don't want to? Don't join them. Make them have to wait to finish, or just leave and find another group. Or get people on your friends list to go with you who will respect your wishes and go at your pace. People wanting to control others is the root of most of the problems in our lives.

Not helping kill the boss is wrong and he shoulda helped, but why would you stop to kill adds? The only reason I do Tiger Strikes is to get the two blue engrams at the end to level my cryptarch. Also the random reward is at the end. Already got one exotic (MIDA) at the end of a strike speed running it.
