The people who bought this game go cheated and scammed into buying this game and it's honestly disgusting. After reading about the debacle with xbox DLC the other day I honestly hope someone starts a class action lawsuit against bungie. If it worked for playstation kiddies with bf3 then it sure as hell will work with this game. Below are some reasons as to why the gaming community would have a STRONG foothole in such a case.
Also for those too ignorant here is a little vid on how much they actually lied to you

As someone mentioned earlier to me in a reply, heres pretty much everything I said plus a lot more:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ5BpeHVTWY#t=70
First is the fact of false advertisement and lying to the consumer. Bungie stated, even when asked, during their trailers if you can go to certain areas of the map they said yes, if you can see it you can go there. They also said that each level will be the size of the entire game of Halo Reach
"The destinations [scenarios where the game takes you] like Mars, Moon, Earth, each one is more or less the same size as the entire game 'Halo: Reach'."
He also explained that the game has a much bigger team working on it:
"In 'Halo', We worked in a team of 130 people. Now there are over 500 people working on 'Destiny'."
What a lie that was. They also NEVER said that the playstation players will be getting any more exclusives other than the launch raid nor did they mention it UNTIL two days ago when they told everyone the date for the first dlc.
Also the fact that all the DLC content is ON DISC and accessible from the start with Items already placed is theft. DLC means Down Loadable Content, and an expansion pack is supposed to ADD to the game post production. If the content is already on the disc its not an expansion pack but locked content. If it is on the disc then the producers have NO right to charge for it. Anything on the disc at launch SHOULD be free. Also the fact that bungie are charging the xbox players the SAME amount as the playstation players then saying they will get that content later for "free" is ludicrous, how is it free when we already paid for it. Also how is it fair that we are paying $35 ( $40-50 here in AU) for a pass the same as the PS players and then getting only a portion of the content, content that is ALREADY on the disc at that.
I can honestly keep picking at EVERY detail that would hold and help in a class action lawsuit against bungie but I wont for sake of time and an already made point.

an engram full of beesにより編集済み: 1/25/2015 8:51:38 PMUnfortunately though, all those details aren't worthy of a class action. Yes, Bungie kept elements of the DLC in the game, but they're allowed to do that. It's their game, and the knowledge of the situation was viral BEFORE the game was released. You didn't have to buy the game. You could've researched the details on the DLC before spending your money. Not to mention, Bungie signed a contract with Sony AND Microsoft. Microsoft knew (on some level) about the difference in game content. Any allegations you make wouldn't call for any reprimand since technically (on paper), Bungie hasn't done anything wrong. If only it was illegal to be an asshole. In which case, they'd have lost a billion dollars worth of lawsuits by now. If you're talking about lawsuits, do your friggin homework first. This is the kind of description I'd expect from a pouty gamer who possesses a demeanor like that of a child. If there was even a shred of evidence, you sound like the last person who would come across it. Because apparently you think you can sue people without legitimate evidence.

When you buy a game, you are giving the developer money for a copy of their product. What you see and they tell you is up for your interpretation whether or not YOU should buy the game as is. Lots of games recently have been released as unfinished products and it's up to you to spend money on it. They can decide what content you get because they are the ones developing it, not you. If you don't like it, go return it. Also, they can choose who to distribute that content to whenever they want because they own the rights to the game, all we did was buy a copy of it. The content in the game is unfinished (aka the dlc) because if you can ever glitch into those areas, it's just walls and floors, nothing ever happens in the areas that are inaccessible until you get the finished missions from the dlc. There was a big update before the dlc released (about 1.6 gigabytes I believe) that gave us some of the levels that weren't in our game yet like the raid. Just think of some of these things before you go talking about false claims (technically they might have had over 500 people working on the game if you include bungie devs, voice actors, the people who wrote and played all the music in the game, the people who created and distributed the advertising, some activision employees who might have helped, etc.) or lawsuits against a developer who "let you down" when all you did was follow and/or create the hype for a game that didn't live up to your expectations because you set them too high…

1 返信Your first case is garbage because for all you know during that build of the game anything was accessible and games are always changing, so you shouldn't expect a game to be what the developers want it to be half a year before release. The second point - on disk dlc - is also very weak though I understand why people are upset. At first it is reasonable to say that you bought a disk so you are entitled to everything on it, but that's not realistic anymore because of digital distribution and the fact that what we buy is a license to play the game. Another thing to consider is that a developer could produce three hundred dollars worth of game and sell it for the recommended retail price (RRP) of $60, or thereabouts, and people would only call it a great game, while another developer could make $60 worth of game and sell it for the same amount and the game could still just be considered great. So why is it not reasonable for someone to make $180 worth of game, gate 2/3 of it behind dlc and sell the initial amount for $60, then charge $20 for each dlc (no I don't think destiny's DLCs are as much value as the core game). This non issue is also a part of the movie industry (think the Hobbit) and the book industry, specifically fictional series where an author can create the story from beginning to end and then split it into three or six parts. Just food for thought, but I do think dlc is a topic that is not thought about enough and too easily dismissed as a cash in

And yes they showed the dlc stuff in the game trailers they can do that, it's perfectly legal. And whom ever would follow you and your law suit would lose horribly against the army of lawyers Activision and bungie has.

Betwixt138により編集済み: 1/25/2015 6:38:37 PMYou're -blam!-ing simple. You don't get that there was no law broken and the only people that deserve your hate and vitriol are yourselves. You hyped yourselves up to the point that no matter what Bungie released you wouldn't have been satisfied. All these crybaby bitches want a game that will change their shit existence into something epic and magical. You dumb bastards thought that the Destiny that was released in September will last 10 years without significant changes and evolution or sequels. Yes, Bungie showed things that didn't ultimately make it to the final release, but so has almost every major studio in the history of video games. Remember Fable and the promises of Peter Molyneux? Remember what Borderlands was going to be originally? Hell, even Halo was originally planned to be a 3rd person shooter. In short, stop getting butthurt because you fail to read disclaimers and have a fundamental misunderstanding of law and how video games are produced.
