I got it today while playing the Daily Heroic. It's called "Random Disconnect". It's similar to Night Fall but you don't need to die first. It just sends you into orbit during random times of the strike. It's pretty challenging. I heard a rumor that they are beta testing this in Crucible as well.

2 通の返信Resetting all our network hardware (modem and router), then re-setting up our PS4 connection and restarting console fixed the issue for my friends and me. We didn't get any disconnects after we did that. It was the recommended action from Sony.

OMG I've just been teleported to my neighbor's house across the road, which was quite disorientating for me. But even worse for my neighbour as he was watching T.V in the nude. Now I have to live with this image. Bungie sort ya game out.

8 通の返信Absolutely the worst timing. Was doing a bunch of loot cave gathering, being a bit successful at it, had 3 Blue and 7 Green Engrams waiting to be picked up... may have even been a purple... and then zap, off planet and denied my prize. Thanks loads.

BigBrutal64により編集済み: 10/29/2014 5:37:00 PMThis is the latest information. Bungie/Activision have a plan. I found this information in a super secret memo. It states that Bungie/Activision--having made their money back-- that it would NOT be cost effective to continue this game with all the fixes that are needed. So, their plan is to keep breaking the game with patches/hot fixes until everyone leaves/quit the game. Then discontinue the game claiming that there is not enough people playing.

I got booted to orbit twice, and this is before half way through a Strike. Suffice to say, I had had enough. Then, Bungie the cheeky bastard's suggest I look at my connection, and quoted "Monkey". Yeah, we know who the real monkey's are here, eh. If there was a problem with my connection, I would have been booted from the game, and not sent to orbit. New patch, new fix, new problem, new patch, new fix, new problem and rinse and repeat...

PowZにより編集済み: 10/29/2014 3:59:39 PMFunny . . . good that you can keep a sense of humor . . . disconnects truly suck. Just in case anyone hasn't already tried this I'm going to reiterate a process that may have helped me keep my disconnects down to only 2 or 3 times since release of the game (I'm on XBone): Turn off console (even if you just recently started it up), unplug it from the wall and wait about a minute, then plug it back in and start it back up (makes it a ture cold boot) . . .log-in to console next and then put another game in that accesses online log-in (I used Titanfall). Once connected to Titanfall I pulled the disc out and then put in Destiny . . . Seemed to run solid with no disconnects for a long time thereafter, Eventually happened a couple of more times and I did the same process. . . I don't know if it will work for you or if it even really worked for me, but whatever. I know this is old news but some of you may not have tried this so I'm just throwing it out there. If it's actually your internet connection and IP that's not agreeing with the Bungie server at the time of a disconnect, that's probably a whole other problem.

I suspect he is a monkey who protects the vex. It seems this new monkey mode is designed to make you solo patrol as that is about the only thing you can do whilst he is in the area.
