Well Since Bungie puts their own notes in the forums then locks them and they never reply to any HELP issues and they always sem to troll the idiots posts who tell everything on the game such as the Atheon push and how to do it," people like this author is the reason for so called "patches", Ill post my nice little note to bungie here. Bungie, As smart as one has to be in order to set up the programs and codes for a game for it to run smoothly, Does no one there know for every code they change on one end of the string that it effects the other end as well? Your so called patch for not getting kicked is so fouled up people are getting kicked up to 13 times trying to do a simple nightfall. A patrol mission cant even be completed. CThe only fix you did in the eyes of the true gamers out here was change the error code from centipede to monkey and weasel now with the addition of mulitple kick rates increased. First you are excited about how teams will form and people will stratigize to complete the raid. well in doing so they have completed it in 45 minutes and less now and your upset that the raid isnt up to par with your standards and has pretty much let you down. then gamers being gamers and who they are found a way to push Atheon off and now your mad about that."thats not the way we intended the game to be played" you said. Did you intend to drop only chest plates and helms from the queens wrath for a week and the same ones with mulitple bounties like that for wrath tickets? well then you should have left the shards in them for the players. nope you screwed the gamers once again. oh the pocket infiniti. how much so was I suprised to have completed a bounty have this cool 8 shot full auto fusion rifle to go running around with in PVE to wake up a week later to see my 8 round capacity was taken away and replaced with a speed reload that doesnt effect the reload at all anyways. Ive noticed that I have paid out $125.00 for a pre-order game including expansion packs and all perks to really not have any perks at all and a game you all keep screwing up with your weekly patches of "fixing" the game that wasnt broken to begin with. You want to fix something? Fix the bloomin voice system that goes silent while in your fire team where no one has communication and everyone has to quit game and restart so they can hear each other again.How about fixing the drop system to work again. Yeah everyone wants to get to level 30 but then they should go through the raid 25+ times like everyone else to get the raid armor, not give it to them like the queens armor only now your giving it to them through the crucible. if they want to play pvp let them.they dont need level 30 gear there as the armor doesnt have any meaning there anyways. oh the iron banner,yeah thats right, WRONG! my maxed out rifles and level 30 armor were taken out very quickly by a level 12 with a pistol from afar. oh yeah i forgot, armor 1-20 is affected because 21-30 is light addition right. ok gotvha. crucible is crucible and pve is pve. there is no need to blend the two and give them both the same abilities if they can get it through pvp while I go through the raid to work and get mine. If thats the case, take the raid out,its worthless at that point. you nerfed the VMC, good,someone in pvp was whining because they got killed with it . I worked for the gun,leveled it and spent time on it.It should be stronger then a shingen-c Its my trophy for my hard work and accomplishment, Stop wrecking the game for true gamers who are always playing and finding every nook and cranny of the game. Its what we do. and for those reading and wanting to make your little comments and try to rag on someone, save it. I have over 600 recorded hours logged into the game. and before the no life comments come into play, Ive earned my life and choice as a retired military Vet. So I would suggest getting the real issues fixed Bungie. As not everyone spends money on deceit and false promises that you have put out so far. Most people sue and bind companies up in courts for a very long time for false advertisements alone. its as easy as the 3 million dollar cup of coffee from mcdonalds.

Instead of being angry or jealous of people who "Cheese" Atheon, or any other part of the game, you should be praising the people who figured it out. It takes a lot of planning, exploration, time and many deaths to figure it out. This is called [url=http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tactic]tactics[/url], and have been used for thousands of year to win wars and everyday life. It becomes trivialized in today's day and age because of the wide use of video capture and social media, so it seems simple...but we overlook the work it took to get to that point. Bungie Developers have stated time and time again to explore their world and push the boundaries of the game. We have done that and they have changed their vision. There is nothing wrong with that from either perspective. It's the game developers job to make the game challenging and fun. It's our right to figure out the nuances and use them to our advantage. That is how the world works. You shouldn't be ridiculed for thinking outside the norm. You can be angry at people for using an apparent "Easy" way to do something, but you do it in everyday life. One-hundred and fifty years ago people rode horses and trains for transportation, today it's cars and planes. One-hundred years ago, we cooked everything in giant cast iron ovens. Today we have microwaves and convection ovens because people thought outside the norm. Twenty-five years ago we carries around boxes of records, taps and CD's for our music(Or god forbid, musical instruments). Today we carry around thousands of songs and videos on devices the size of a wallet. If you watched a video, read a topic or had someone help you with the raid; you are doing the same thing as everyone else... they are just doing it a different way than what you choose. Doesn't make it less right or wrong. There once was a time where people were praised for figuring out a smarter more efficient way of doing things, even in video games. So if you choose to do Atheon head on or the "Cheesy" way, as long as you are having fun, what difference does it make? It doesn't. Because history has shown that people will always go for the smarter and easier method if one exists. It just boils down to choice.

It takes 4-5 teleports to beat Atheon legit on hard which is anywhere from 3-6mins why does everyone insist on cheesing?

The contrast in patience between console and PC gamers is incredibly stark. Have some respect for endgame content and stop trying to justify cheesing by calling out negative aspects of the game. If you succeeded in cheating Atheon, congratulations on loot that will soon be non-viable, having gained little actual raid experience for later enounters that don't have such issues. You should be thankful you are playing a game with "end-game" content that can be completed within ~ 2 weeks after buying the game. lmfao.

I am looking to get a group of people together to beat Atheon the legit way, with fully upgraded "tracking" launchers! Must be lvl 30 with either the gjallarhorn or truth. I'll be on and ready to go in about 45-1 hour. @ the gate keeper checkpoint.

We totally cheesed him last night by sending 3 random people through the portal. One grabbed the relic and the other 2 killed oracles. After they made it through the portal the 3 outside joined up on the center platform. We did this about 4 times. Hopefully bungie will patch this glitch out.

The idea of teamwork and planning throughout the raid now means nothing when the hardest part now includes random warps. If you patch atheon, why on earth would you make a random teleport. BTW, how about fixing the KTO, HORRID CHAT ISSUES, the warping of only 2 or two people that makes you restart. Also, I've beaten this raid quite a few times, IM SICK OF CHATTERWHITE! I GOT CHATTERWHITE AND 3 ENERGY LAST NIGHT ON 2 DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. Meanwhile, a teammate gets 2 legendary and 2 exotics from atheon (Gallahorn, universal remote, vision of con and another)...I will break something if I get another Chatter white tonight after I beat on hard...

I wouldn't mind doing the boss legitimately if I would get more than a Chatterwhite and 3 energy/shards...

At this point playing VoG legit or not is not a battle against Atheon but against RNG that only gives me helmets and sparrows. YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for bringing this to Bungie's attention, I'm sure they will get on fixing those spots real quick ;) Also, Bungie patches out an exploit, so how does the community react? By bitching and moaning, making ridiculous arguments, and trying to find other ways to exploit..... I can see Destiny has a GREAT future.....
