So in a round about way this implies that the Crucible is balanced. It's really all a mindset...
From a recent post... "So I just wanted to post a testimony about being one of the players that up until recently despised the Crucible...
I was one of those players that would enter the game and get my royal ass kicked all of the time. I would get so incredibly pissed and frustrated, and would be yelling at the TV hoping that the player on the other side of the screen could hear my profanities!
I basically gave up on the Crucible, but there was another side to me that would not give up. I couldn't fathom that ALL of the players were that much better than me. By the way I'm 41 and this is my first console and first video game that I have immersed myself in.
I was also one that made a couple of comments in the forum to instate appropriate matchmaking because I felt like it was terribly unbalanced. Yes I was one of those.
Admist the comments I got a couple of comments saying keep at it. You'll get better. Part of me wanted to believe that, and as I kept getting my ass beat over and over I was progressively getting better!
Now my whole goal is not to win although that would be nice, but it's to have fun and at the beginning I wasn't having any fun playing the Crucible. I can finally say that I am having fun and just recently with one game I played I was ranked number 1!
So I say all of this to give hope to you guys that feel discouraged and only want to play PVE because that's what you're good at. I had the same mindset, and for the most part I am PVE all the way, but it is really nice to think I have brought in another avenue of the game to make the game feel richer and feel like I've accomplished many facets of what the game offers.
FYI for the most part I use a fusion rifle that I used to not like the mechanics on. Despite what people say the fusion takes some skill because the reaction time is not immediate like the shotgun. So it's all a matter of preference and maybe I've inspired a Crucible hater to someone that might keep trying and somewhat enjoy it.
PS I completed my first Crucible Bounty last night!!
If you were able to read all of this thank you, and let me know if you enjoyed my testimonial. PEACE.
The people who try to say it is balanced are the ones using its "Unbalancedness" to their advantage.
Seriously there is a major problem when all I am ever getting killed by is:
1. Fusion Rifles
2. Shotguns
3. Golden Gun/Bladedancer
4. Suros/other OP legendaries
Primary weapons should be what kills me the majority of the time. If primaries aren't klilling me most of the time then it means the o0ther weapons are too easy to use.
When everything is overpowered, nothing is.
I'm certainly not the best player around, but I have no problems with pvp. If you don't like it, don't play it.
Its not. So I won't.
And its a far cry fr being competitive.
That being said, I have a lot of fun in crucible and the only time i got salty was the thorn bounty.
I play a lot of fighting games tho, so dealing with imbalances is just something that I've dealt with since 92.
"I got killed by the same thing twice so everything is unbalanced and unfair! You need to turn everything into rubber band launchers! ...Just not what I use though... what I use is fine..."
Ignorant. WoW has been out for 10 years and they still make balancing changes almost weekly. Balance is a constantly moving target. Pvp will never be perfectly balanced in any game. I play all three classes and I think they are very close to equally powerful.
>People trying to prove it is
Ayy lmao

It actually is. Pretty much only difference between players is skill. Not classes, not weapons, skill. Do you get -blam!- too much?
It is balanced don't you see. Xur sold the Suros so now everyone is using the same gun. Problem solved! All three classes melees are OP and all three classes supers are OP (source: Bungie.net forums) so there is no issue there either. It would seem Bungie has created the perfect PvP experience. LOL.
