Why do people cheat?
I'm really wanting to know. Is it because that's the only way they can win or? I can understand some lag from the servers but some are just out right cheating and it's obvious. Is there really nothing to combat this other than just leaving the game?
Edit: I do not have slow internet or use WiFi, so please don't try to tell me it's just lag from slow connection. Also as an effort to stop these people, I will list all their names below when I meet them. These people are scum for cheating and deserved to be banned imo.
Edit:Apparently I was not clear enough. This is happening in the CRUCIBLE. The people either start the game unkillable, or in my games most of the time, somehow switch (not literally switch just using as a reference) to the horrible unkillable lag.

just a lag from a slow connection.. happened to me before.. two warlocks clashed, meleed each other , nothing happened, walked away, Bam, both dead =D.. take it with humor.. its very hard to cheat on those Platforms.. and most of the time its not cheating but serverlags (not your connection, the servers connection) had plenty of times when the opponent died meters away and seconds after he killed me ^^

Well, sometimes when two people are in a relationship, one person might feel a little neglected and look for attention elsewhere. That's why some people cheat. I should probably read more than just the topic next time.

2 通の返信I doubt that what you're experiencing is cheating. The netcode in this game is very bad. Nobody really wants to talk about it or bring attention to it for some reason.

12 通の返信Why do people care? Is it because you're so self righteous or? I mean, people payed $60 to play THEIR game THEIR way. It's up to BUNGIE to stop them if they are cheating. If they find it bad enough, they will fix it. Get off the forums with this crap. Do something productive. Quit worrying about anyone but yourself.

The only person I can ever tell that has ever modded is a guy named imoddestiny. He was on my team and had golden gun from the beginning of the match to the end and went 34-0. First time I ever saw someone go "unbroken"

Some people suck so badly at real life that they have to supplement their lack of achievement by cheating in a video game. I am not including anyone who mods or cheats in co-op or single player stuff or anything that does not negatively hurt another player I.e. skyrim mods, borderlands modded weapons in YOUR lobby, and things of that nature but when you are playing team death match in call of duty or something and you have god mode on....that says a lot about who you are

I've played more pvp then your average bear. This is not the first game to see threads like yours but every time I see them I know the people are full of shxt and don't know what they are talking about. You just suck, or its lag. Post your speedtest.nest and videos of people "cheating" or gtfo scrubby mcscrubbinscrubs

7 通の返信I can assure you there are no hackers in the game. However occasionally some people will have really terrible internet and APPEAR to be unkillable. But they are not! Just bad internet.
