Which is better, doing one thing extremely well or doing a few things decently? The suros regime is just extremely good at what it does; if you haven't seen its perks and upgrades firsthand you'd probably be surprised. It's very easy to custom build your suros the way everyone else does. The moderate RoF, high impact blueprint that it follows is the foundation on which its focus fire perk and range and stability upgrades easily compliment and build upon. All of that makes for a very stable gun with good effective range to boot. There's not much more to it, despite risk of redundancy I say it again, it's a very stable gun with good effective range to boot. The focus fire perk adds to its surprising ease of use. People complain about (some legitimately) OP exotics, and (some legitimately) UP exotics. Do you want exotics to be exotics or not? Like I said, it's just good at what it does. Are you going to tell me next that all shotguns are OP because of their one hit kill potential in close quarters? Well, that's laughable, seeing as how they're shotguns. If a shotgun doesn't kill at point blank then people will say that shotgun is UP or straight up broken, so do you want OP ohk shotguns, or lame underwhelming shotguns that are not a potential ohk at all? I use the always prevalent example of shotguns because the "issue" is honestly the same thing. People are getting blindsided by niche weapons and are upset by it. Please anyone tell me how you've repeatedly gotten smoked by a suros at shotgun range, or at legitimate sniper range. And also how you've ever gotten killed by a shotgun outside of the range where its bullets/buckshot/projectiles cease to exist. [b]TL;DR version:[/b] First two paragraphs, better to do one thing well than everything decent. Suros has extreme ease of use and stability, and is not OP. The same way shotguns are superb at their own niche. People are just getting excessively killed by select weapons because of their usefulness in the engagements that the PvP maps and game types put you in.

Its op....people who say otherwise just own one and don't want to lose their favorite go-to. (Note: that means pretty much almost everyone who owns a suros, including most of my friends. That right there is enough evidence that it is op. Auto rifles shouldnt be auto SNIPER rifles.) I own one too, but i Don't use it because i know it's going to be nerfed and the only way to get better is to be challenged) Also it looks like an astronaut's dick. Edit: pasting an analogy i made in a reply so everyone will read it and understand my point: "Treat it like an automatic scout rifle, except it has better stability and rate of fire for almost the same damage, and therefore a higher DPS. when an auto rifle is better than scout rifles at being a scout rifle, even if exotic, then its op."

Slow fire rate.... Moderate impact.... Decent accuracy..... Not OP. My vision of confluence kills is 4 shots. Mind you, you have to have the skill to use a scout and head skull ever time.

Actually suros is quite lacking compared to guns like thorn, fusion rifles and shotguns. And red death AND plan C AND gjallahorn AND truth... basically stop playing the crucible

How about stop nerfing all specific class items such as assault rifles and start fixing individual items. Exotics should be powerful they are exotics. Although tweaking them properly is hard to do especially pleasing everyone at it. It's people like you who ruined exotics especially ones like the pocket infinity, which should have 5 rounds not 3. But then again that's like Me questioning the reason behind the raid fusion Praetorian foil having the upgrade javelin. Which is absolutely no use. And usually only on rocket launchers.

I don't see how Suros is OP. I wish someone would explain it to me.

Nothing wrong with autos. Fusion rifles one shot me from distance all the time , just accept the pvp ain't all that

Theyre not op. Handcannons are better in pvp if you headshot. red death can kill in two bursts on headshots and scout rifles are awesome if you like to hang back and not charge in. Theyre not OP, theyre just widely used.

Since the weekend I use a super pox pulse rifle.... and as long as I keep my cool and go for those headshots... I outgun the Suros.... Sure, it's nice and easy, which is why so many people use one, I have it on my titan and it's a great autorifle. But skill still prevails... the more I play PvP, the more I get the idea that the handcannon is the strongest weapon. You don't see people who are really good with one too often, but when you encounter one, you don't really stand a chance (which is totally ok IMO)
