just got turned down for hard raid,.
It wasn't because of my level.,
It was because I'm a hunter.
That,
That hit me right in my pride.
I'm going to go sacrifice myself to crota now.

4 通の返信Yup, hard raid hates on hunters. Stealth is usless and it takes 2 gg shots for one orical. The other 2 classes out perform in the VoG on hard. My first character was hunter and it hurt my pride too when i was asked to swap to my lock to run it. But who knows, maybe the dark below and wolf whatever raids will be better suited for the hunter play style.

The ONLY value I have is my invisibility super, I can pick up the shield while invisible and not have to worry about the enemies that spawn at the Gatekeeper phase. That's it. Sorry. We're a crowd control class in a raid where everything is too hard to control. Go own in PvP to make yourself feel better. Edit: Oh, you're level 27. Haha, no brah, you got turned down because you are three levels under the enemies, you won't do jack for damage even with a fully upgraded ice breaker.

1 返信I think it is because you are level 27 and a Hunter.. Level 27 is too low and I don't know what is so wrong with being a Hunter.

8 通の返信Gridlok87により編集済み: 10/24/2014 7:50:54 PMDefender titans and Sunsinger warlocks are just better options. Hunter can't really provide much for the raid with its abilities. Most likely not personal, just 'business'. Hopefully if a third class is released the Hunter gets a good utility option.

9 通の返信This is coming from a lv 30 hunter, maxed out everything that's worth maxing out, etc... I feel you. It's my favorite class to play but it brings NOTHING to the hard mode raid. A lot of ppl feel like it's a wasted slot inviting a hunter, and rightfully so. I'll even admit when i'm raiding I would rather have anything else besides a hunter with us. I really hope down the road Bungie addresses this, but in the game's current state, hunter flat-out sucks in high-end PVE content compared to the other 2.

1 返信What does being a Hunter have to do with not being allowed to partake in the Raid? It sounds like you've just encountered some random prick who has BS excuses for not allowing you into the Raid. I think they're a minority, but still. :/

That's bullshit I always do the best on my team I almost never go down or is the last one to go down with my hunter... Golden gun takes down a crowd of fanatics quick and I can take a monitor down from range ... I make 8 Orbs easy

9 通の返信Then you bladedance across the jump puzzle and wait for everyone else. Hunters are amazing in the raid. We have 3 hunters all the time. Speed is very important in the raid. Stay strong brother.

6 通の返信Trust me.. If you were a higher hunter you probably would have gotten in.. A 27 has no place in a level 30 raid. Just saying.

3 通の返信We have a couple of hunters on our regular fireteam who do a great job on the oracles. There's a helmet upgrade that allows and extra shot or two with the golden gun that is really nice. I mean, hunters aren't as cool as warlocks, but there's no sense it denying a hunter entry to a fireteam unless there's too many hunters already.

I will reiterate what many are saying... 27 should not be in hard mode at all. I tried at that level because the team I was with was willing to carry me, but I quickly realized I couldn't do anything (even maxed weapons) and would get 1 spotted by hobgoblins. I realized I was a burden on the other 5 and let them know I was leaving so they could find a better replacement. At 29/30 now and they still hit hard as a mofo, especially those freakin harpies in the templar stage.
