FINALLY a nightfall I can't solo/ I have no reason to do nightfalls anymore
I have my gear for crucible and my gear for doing the raid, all of it is maxed.. including 10 legendary weapons, and 10 more legendaries I haven't leveled.
What incentive do any of us lvl 29+ people have to spend countless hours doing the nightfall with each of our characters?

EDIT: here's a tip to solo this week's nightfall, well the last part: before you get into phogoth's chamber, there is a room where a shrieker spawns if you stay in it to long. To counter this problem, just back into the room before you get into the room where the shrieker spawns. If you wait a while, the shrieker as well as any other enemies in that room will disappear, giving you a couple seconds to fire at phogoth unbothered. But there is a tiny tidbit that makes this fight even easier, but its really hard to describe in detail so please bare with me. Ok.... you know The door way that connects the room where the shrieker spawns and the room where you have to go to to de-spawn enemies? If you press you body to the right of the doorway, you have a small but perfect view of phogoth's crit spot (his chest). You have to get his attention first so that he's trying to shoot at you from that spot but he won't be able to do hit you. You'll know your in the right place because if the shrieker spawns, then that means that your're to far outside the doorway. It takes some trying, but once you get it, it makes it so easy. I was able to do this strike on level 26 solo, and this part was a cake walk

If you didn't have 3 Titans you wouldn't have this problem. Delete on and make a Warlock/Hunter.

5 通の返信keep tring i am the challenge is fun soloed to phogoth then died before reaching the safe spot. its possible but really wave 3of the rune gates is the hardest. tring again now

Because it is fun. I'm right there with you at 29+ just waiting on remaining raid gear for 30. I enjoy the challenge and gives me a chance at more weapons since I ran Raid today and only got 3 Energy for beating Atheon.

A) Your experience boost affects reputation B) Exotics you might not have C) Ascendant materials. Despite being 29+, still need them for weapons/armor D) General collection of good. I like the grimoire score and reading the cards. Small incentive, but I think the ascendant materials and faction bonuses are reason enough. Plus it makes it easier to get motes of light. A lot of this centers on gear, which you might not be interested in, but the way I see it, I've got 3 other characters I enjoy playing with that need gear. Outside of that, if you want to say you are good on gear/not interested in levelling another toon, and all of your weapons are fully upgraded and you still have ascendant materials/dont need them, you probably have no reason, but not for lack of there being reasons

I have no incentive to do nightfall. All my factions are rank 4 or higher. I can't get the one piece of gear I need to hit level 30, and I have more exotics than I care to even use. But... I'm still going to do the nightfall.

5 通の返信I would be happy just getting 6 Shards for the Nightfall this week. I saw someone post yesterday that their friend picked up 12 from last week's Nightfall !
