Watch the radar, no ranged maps (unless void sniper) and stay with other players. I'm hopeless at PVP but the radar made it easier when I learned to use it properly. I have one Thorn, next is on the way when I finish another bounty (I have three bounties Im getting to the pvp stage) Solo'd Xyor too, it wasn't as hard as what people said if you run out and lure mobs in to the safe room
