Once you get and upgrade all your raid gear and upgrade all your desired weapons you will realize there is nothing to do other than wait for Tuesdays, Grind Crucible/Strikes for no reward. I don't want to leave but there's nothing to do for me anymore.
Any tips on what to do while waiting for Tuesdays?
EDIT : Great source of comedy! LOL

No still will not quit even then. I was max prestige in CoD in several games and did not quit playing them just because I had all weapons and unlocks for them and max level of play. It is not meant to always have new content all the time just because you burn through the rest so quickly.

1 返信After taking 2 characters to level 28, and having no luck finding people to raid with, and with no matchmaking, I'm afraid I've shelved the game already. A lot of people are posting comments that basically can be summed up as "welcome to MMO's". If that's the case, then I guess I'm not a fan after all. There's so little content and story in the main game, and the environments are limited to 4 spots. I've always assumed that MMOs had the scope and size of other RPGs, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Most side missions in Skyrim, Dragon Age, The Witcher 2, Dragon's Dogma and Mass Effect games have more physical area than a single planet in Destiny. With that little variety, many people are going to be bored to tears in a very short time.

Level all three characters, take a break, play dlc, level all three characters, take a break.... This isn't a subscription game, we aren't wasting money if we take a break from it for a few months to play something else. I don't understand why people believe that the second a game is ejected from your console you are "quitting" it.

Level another character. I'm stuck waiting in shard drops on my Titan so I made a warlock, it's been pretty fun trying a new class. Got him up to 25 tho so soon I'm sure I'll get stuck with him as well haha

Even if this holds any truth, when the DLC drops, the masses will return to play. I personally prefer a game that gave us new stuff to do at least every month in exchange for a season pass type fee, maybe a 6 month pass, but in return I want a story and new levels, gear, strikes, raid and gear. I would hope with the development time spent on this "living engine" that is Destiny that they would have gotten ahead on level and story board design, but I am a bit skeptical on this. This game introduces a framework with some really great potential to evolve like no game before it and it will be interesting to see how this goes....With the money involved and at stake on this, I would hope that they figure out how to keep this game fresh....If you want to keep playing it long term, you have to add content regularly.

I play this game because it's fun to play....I don't mind grinding for exotic/legendary weapons & gear......You think the grind is rough on Destiny?? Try grinding on WoT XB360 for upgrades and tanks....now....THAT is "GRINDING!" Lol I will keep grinding until I can get the items I want for each character......I got a long way to go and the patience to get there. Sorry you will leave Destiny on the shelf or trade it in....have fun with whatever new game you get. I gotta go.....got 2 Legendary's for the "Pawn Broker" to de-crypt...hope he doesn't cheat me....AGAIN!!! Lol....1 chest piece and 1 helmet....picked up with my Warlock, And gave to my Hunter (the only one without any Exotic armor) That friggin Cryptarch is like a SLOT MACHINE......pull the arm and hope for something good! (think I'm gonna start calling him "BANDIT") :)

RESIDENT HIPPYにより編集済み: 10/20/2014 5:51:41 PMYes, when dragon age comes out, destiny will sit in the corner for a timeout. And then when division comes out, destiny will be going to a farm with lots of room to run and play...also known as gamestop. DLCs sound good but a game should not have to rely on dlcs to deliver on its promises.

And I'll be doing the same in The Dark Below, and then in House of Wolves, and then in Destiny 2 and so on. It's the nature of the game. You raid, you gear up to be ready for the next tier of raiding, that tier releases, you grind it until there's nothing left for you in there, and now you're ready for the next raid. Rinse and repeat for a decade. Welcome to MMO's. Some people love them, some people hate them, but it is what it is.

I have a job and a life outside of Destiny, so I play at a leisurely pace, and I have yet to reach the weekly cap. If you play just for fun, you might accidentally have some for a change. I know, I know, people like to rag on us "casual" gamers, but guess what? WE'RE the one's who are actually enjoying ourselves. You "hardcore" gamers out there might want to try it sometime.

1 返信DLC drops and you do it all again for slightly higher gear and shard all this stuff. Pretty standard MMO design. Welcome to the grind.

I fear I'm in the same situation... I hit level 28 with my Warlock; bored of all the strikes, done VoG once and no real interest in doing it again. As you say, the weekly changes hold a little pull for me, but apart from that... Recently created a Hunter to see if it's different enough to keep me interested. Not sure it will be at this time. I never expected Destiny to be endlessly fascinating, but now I'm just hoping I can keep playing until I can get Dragon Age Inquisition.
