Your original post does not address any circumstances when it would make sense to have an exotic primary. Do not blame others for not filling in the glaring blanks in your argument. It is not obvious you were referring to pve because you made a very black and white statement concerning the use of exotic primary weapons. I'll make this quite simple.... Good reasons someone would use an exotic primary: -pvp -haven't been lucky with rng in raid -don't have time to raid/ haven't had a good group yet -want to practice with a specific weapon type -enjoy using a specific weapon/type -enjoy aesthetics of weapon/type -lack of materials to upgrade raid weapon -enemies aren't affected by specific acquired raid weapon's elemental type Those are just off the top of my head. Your "logic" doesn't account for any of those. I'm sure there are many more reasons. Your post should have read something along the lines of: I would recommend for players, playing pve content, to raid to get a raid primary weapon This will increase dps in afore-mentioned pve content which will likely increase the rate at which you complete pve content. Instead you attacked a specific demographic using a blanket black and white statement without qualifications. You can thank me for teaching you multiple valuable life lessons concerning how you communicate your opinions and even how you communicate facts to others.
