PvP will lose 90% of its players when....
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare releases on November 3rd.
You know why? Because they refuse to fix simple issues like lag, hit registration, latency, super balances, special/heavy ammo frequency, poor game type options.
Those are all strong points of call of duty and I know I will get a lot of hate from people just because the word call of duty rings hatred on the forums but deep down we all know it's true.

Uh, wut? Server based multiplayer, lagginess is on you bud. Bad hitreg is a side effect of bad connection/high ping.as for supers, trust me, there is a counter to them all. BD-Run, GS-Hide, VW-Melee range(induce suicide), SS-Double tap/trap the body, De-Just walk away, St-Stay far away(Titans are so slow).

Detherowにより編集済み: 10/16/2014 8:11:11 PMi see all this hate towards COD... what games are you people playing that you say COD PVP is horrible? while Destiny's PVP is horrible, utterly crap.. it is also one of the best i have seen. good - vehicles gun turrets wide open areas hit markers on players matchmaking Bungie staff playing against players bad - weapon and gear normalization all level access no ranking structure also, you are comparing 2 seperate games against eachother. both PVP require skill.... just COD has been doing it longer, and is more fine tuned about it than Destiny. also, they dont -blam!- up weapons balances, and they dont need to worry about armor. COD keeps it simple... pick your toon to play, and weapons and go shoot until your nerd rage goes down..... easier to focus and be good in one area... PVP.. the storyline is just a background. Destiny is more complex... armor, supers, weapons with multiple types of perks, abilities... hard to fucus and be good at PVP with all these different aspects that can change balances.

Or have a group of three people and there is another group of three and they can 3v3 you and your group..... Sounds fun because the maps would be bigger ;)

Dude I hope so, I hope crucible becomes more of an after thought and the focus changes to content. This is not me hating on crucible I play crucible and enjoy it I just really wish it wasn't as necessary to get better gear. And as much as I love the story *pause for the crowd gasp* yes I love the story, I really wish there was more. More missions, more bounty's, changing aspects to maps based on events, ect. ..and before anyone insults me for my liking of the story read the Grimoire cards, the story is great its just unfortunate that it required you to leave the game to get it.

PvP modes are being added to games that don't need PvP, like Bioshock and Mass Effect. I know PvP is popular, but it doesn't need to be added to every game just to sell more copies. And on top of that, I think many people bought Destiny solely for the PvP. PvE for them is just a necessary evil to make their Guardian better at PvP.

Also supers are meant to be.... Super. I also enjoy when people make up random numbers like its a fact. Guess you can see the future. What are the stocks like next week?

Anyone who's for this mechanic manfests that they're not interested in the outcome and might aswell go toss a ball back and forth to a buddy in the backyard. *Split manually formed teams. This happens to my fireteam in almost every game. The worst part, it's confusing as hell because I don't start every game checking that we actually are in the same team when we're supposed to be. So all of a sudden I have someone saying "we're winning" or "I'm taking B" when it doesnt correlate at all with what I'm seeing on my screen.

1 返信At least CoD AW won't have this stupid insanely high bullet magnetism that Destiny has and make people feel special because they land throwing knife/hand cannon headshots every time.

I'll wager the problems with latency, lag and hit detection are more the result of Destiny's shabby matchmaking. Why do you think Bungie is so reluctant to add voice chat? Probably so the guy in New Jersey won't realize he's just been matched with a guy in Brazil and one in Malaysia.
