I don't understand. Sure auto rifles were strong, Vex was insane, Pocket Infinity was OP, but the only people complaining were humans. I haven't done Crucible in weeks and don't enjoy Destiny's PVP. I understand many do, so why not fix the balancing issue where they were rather than across the board? I got my Suro's from the raid, my Epilogue from the raid, Pocket Infinity from an exotic bounty, why are they all but worthless now in the arena that I play the most, PVE. Fix exploits in the raid, fine, but to nerf three of the best PVE weapons because of PVP balance issues is so short sighted. And the Vex is a reward for beating the final boss on hard. Less than 5% of the players have accomplished that feat and you repay that effort with a 34% reduction in damage? What's the point in even trying to acquire the "good" stuff when it's reduced to a trophy within 3 weeks. I swear if I didn't know better you wanted the grinders/hardcore gamers to leave and be left with COD 360 fakie no-scopers. I love this game but a month in I'm not really feeling the love in return. Edit: Perhaps "worthless" was a bit strong but it's the principle of the matter. If the potential reward for the "hard" stuff is no better than a vanguard weapon, what's the point in the grind. Get 6 people, beat VOG on hard (legit), get weapon that post nerf is no better than a weapon I can buy from Xur. Kind of takes the fun out off it. Edit 2: The changes were to an area of the game that has no effect on you or your level of enjoyment. I have said many times that the balance issues were needed in PVP, but they're taking rewards for doing end-game content and making them average. That defeats the purpose to obtain and thus defeats the purpose to continue to play. This hurts all of us! Edit 4: It has come to my attention that Hot Fixes never have the comments open, I wrongly presumed this was done on purpose by the Dev Team because they didn't to hear our point of view.
