I'd gladly help you if you have X360 I'm lvl 29 and had some trouble a few weeks ago with leveling. I had to grind out a queens helmet yet to get a Ghost Angel helmet just 2 days ago.

I ended up doing the new monarchy because of not paying attention to how the bond thing worked. I have about 850 reputation to go before I can start buying legendary gear. I have 9 coins just from the crucible, but I can't get through the heroic chakanges by myself. I waist 4 hours and just keep dying.

Ive been trying for a week so im rite where you are...they need to add matchmaking for higher level things and let the players decide if they need to be micd up....last nite i did hit vanguard level 2 (finally!) So i bougjt some legendary armor from the hall of guardians

Cool, I am still slowly building up. I just hit rank 2 in the New Monarchy and bought all legendary gear. Today I guess I will be working on the last 1000 points to get to level 3 and buy some legendary weapons.

An easy way to level your Vanguard is to always do the bounties you get rep and sometimes an Exotic bounty when you do Vanguard tiger you get 61 Rep I think but sometimes an Exotic weapon or Legendary engram.
