So half the forum cries to get it nerfed, and now the [i]other[/i] half of the forum cries once it's nerfed. Wtf? Pot, have you met kettle?

Kinda torn on the whole nerf issue here. It was OP for sure, at least in PVP, and you generally could see someone go from being a middle of the field player to top of the leaderboard player just from that gun. It had nothing to do with skill. I applaud those who earned it the hard way, not taking the easy route to acquire it. It is those who took the hard route I feel bad for at this point for the nerfing. Those times you ran into a single guy on the other team with one, as long as you could communicate with your team (Yay Fireteams and Party chat, Boo no matchmade chat) you single him out and wreck his ass with coordinated fire. Done deal. Where you ran into trouble were the 3 or 4 members of a team rocking them and you getting slapped around like a red-headed step-child and losing 20k to 5k in 5 mins. Thankfully I never ran into a 3 man Skirmish team all rocking them...*shudders* Clearly, something had to give. A balancing of the scales had to happen. I expected perhaps a minor PVP downgrade in power of it, maintaining its power for PVE dominance for future Strikes/Raids, since you earned it (for those that actually truly did). I don't think anyone expected it to get its nut-sack removed though. Perhaps a bit of a knee-jerk extreme response, unless they are also doing it as a punishment for those used the exploit to get it easy, but then why punish everyone for the sins of the "few"?

Ummmmm.....get over it??? Patch is already in and done. Time to upgrade your aiming skill! :)

There's tons of people who own the vex and are complaining its getting nerfed because of how op it is and they don't wanna go back to their excuses of dying from BS. I own one and its stupid good. I'm glad they're nerfing. It wasn't a fair playing field when a team of three goes into skirmish and they're all using one against a team with only legendaries. 2-4 shot auto rifle kill basically. Way too op. Vex users complaining an op weapon is getting nerfed is funny. Everyone talks about skill meanwhile no ones willing to put their own skill to the test. I purposely not use it a lot because I'm bored when I get 40 kills in a game. And i feel bad. Confident enough to get high KD without it and its more of a challenge.

Aw those dang noobs... Now you're going to have to actually work for kills...

I think a better fix would be to make a crucible where ever body had all the same shit to pick from and make load outs with, and all the crybaby casuals can use that. And all the people who have skills and actually like having a challenge get a crucible where you can use your own gear. The crybabies will be apeased and the hm raid will still have a point.

Actually....yes. if you can't win PvP without a vex then stop playing. If we were in crucible with just auto-rifle then we would see who the best are...maybe you...maybe not. But unbalanced weapons ruin PvP.

They took over 30% base damage from the vex! If that doesn't describe how OP that gun is, than anyone who cries about it knows they won't be good at PvP anymore.

Are you really this stupid? Server data causes nerfs, complaints highlight potential problem. People complain, then Bungie looks at the very real data. If between the data and the complaints there really is a problem, things get changed. Too many auto rifles in play and average DPS for the vex mythos was way too high. Not enough scout rifles in play etc... thus changes were made.

Such a stupid patch. Granted it was powerful, but it was nothing Thorn couldn't handle with a little patience and not running straight at the guy using it. The whiners will always get their way. And they'll continue to whine until this is just another generic FPS.

All the bitches that couldn't get the vex for themselves are all happy because now there is no point to do the hard raid for a weapon you can only get on hard mode. If it was that good why didn't you try to get it for yourselves you bitches.

I hope all you crybabies that get nerfed continue crying.
