I've beaten Aetheon both ways and in all honesty I like pushing him off the cliff more because it's a time saver. See what I did there? I made a joke. Time saver. Ha Ha I kill. Honestly I rather take 10mins to push him off then 2 hours to kill him.

First off I have not completed the raid yet as my group failed to even get to spawn him when we tried. And I don't intend to use any exploit of any kind. But I don't mind those who do. Why does that bother you that much? I mean no offense but it is simply non of your business. Do as you personally want to and let other players play the game the way they see fit. Are you afraid that you get shot a little more often in Pvp if everyone has the same gun as you? Honestly this game is not centered around people hanging around in Stormwind... I bet I wouldn't get to kill you in Pvp even with a tatical nuclear warhead because I'm not good at FPS in gerneral. Would you still mind me shooting you with a Mythoclast? Because you as a hardcore raider should be able to kill them anyways. And by the way. I don't think the therm "earn" applies to video games. I have to "earn" my monthly paycheck and with it my standards in Life. Games I play for fun only and gladly will accept everything the god of RNG is willing to throw my way. While they are at it. Fix the teleport to always take 3 people. Fix the teleport so that it won't happen late and teleport someone who is detained. Fix the preatorian on Venus so he doesn't "feign death". Fix the preatorian on Venus so he can't punch someone out of the map. Fix the preatorian on Venus. Fix the supplicants so they don't vanish and appear on your face. And for the LOVE! Fix the freaking chat.

I've beat the hard and normal raid many times legit.......why should I spend two hours on a boss just to get shards on it when I can do it in 10 min the other way? I've beat it legit now im just trying to beat it as quick as possible

I finally beat VoG yesterday, and we didn't need to use any stupid exploit, I may have not been the best player in the fireteam, but I think I deserved my Atheon's Epilogue, Truth, and Chatterwhite. It felt so good to finally beat Atheon fair and square! I've been trying for weeks, but haven't got past The Templar until now :-)

Ok I've seen all these posts about being able to force atheon off the ledge. Honestly I think it should be left alone. My reason being that when faced with a grenade being lobbed at me I too will move to avoid it. In doing so if I happen to backpedal off a cliff I'm dead. Why shouldn't the enemies be bound by that very same rule? Is it cheap? You betcha. Is it game breaking? Far from it. Just my opinion.

That's not a cheap way to kill...whoever figured it was playing smart and was tired of his team losing so he went up there to Atheon started spamming him with grenades and supers and found this wY by accident...to everyone saying that this was not intended or how that this is not how Bungie wanted it be...how the hell do you know that this isn't what bungie wanted...are their spokesperson and have dealt with them in everyday meetings...no cuz in reality you have no idea what bungie intentions are When this came out bungie was probably dumbfounded and surprised like the rest of us were...I really doubt this will get fixed cuz in my opinion you would have to change the layout of that portion of the area

Patch and take away rewards that were obtain by pushing atheon off the edge
