I actually earned my Icebreaker...
All those coins I earned finally paying off, thanks Xur, and screw you RNG once again ^_^

8 通の返信This earning and not earning argument redic. Its a video game. You get stuff in different ways you play, you enjoy, you move on. Why get angry over what other people have or how they obtained it? Just enjoy the game life is stressful enough, no need to add more b.s. to it.

That said, the reason Xur is here is to help the guardians as an agent of the 9. He's trying to give out the best materials he has been given by this force. He also can't decide what is given as "his movements are not his own". I think the problem is that there is so little immersion that the meta game has overtaken what little lore is out there. Here's another thing, what if Xur is in the same boat as us? He earned the Ice Breaker from RNG too, but he can't even use it :[ Maybe he too was confused as to why he kept getting sunbreakers to sell. These are just my 2 coins though. I am not saying I'm right; I just want a game justified perspective in here.

Yup, earned mine and now everyone has it. Def takes away from the unique factor of it but nothing I can do. I always said, they shouldn't sell exotic weapons. You should earn your exotic weapons by playing nightfall or doing the raid or from going ham in crucible. Not from saving up a couple coins and buying it, takes away from the weapons worth. Earned all my exotic weapons from different things, haven't bought a single one from Xur.

To those who think xur kills uniqueness, eventually most exotic weapons will have been sold at some point, and that means everyone who has every exotic will be forced to choose one. So don't worry, it'll even out.

Hell yes ! Fuk RNG ! Rng for bungie is another way not to put in the time and effert to put the loot with bosses. Because godforbid we actually farm bosses woth time effert to get our raid gear and raid weapons....like say in anyother big game! Idiots!!!!

2 通の返信Got my Ice Breaker this morning, had 39 strange coins saved up. I still use my Red Death/ Suros Regime most of the time so I can take advantage of my Knucklehead Radar. Ice Breaker is still a lot of fun out of the box though. The only exotic I was truly disappointed with was Thunderlord.

I'm glad Xur has it on sale, so friends and other guardians can experience this beast of weapon. To all those who feel butt hurt because of Xur.. grow up! Guardians enjoy the Icebreaker!

I'll add another "thanks for the post" as well. Good to see something positive on the forum for a change. Like yourself, I earned my strange coins through playing the game. They may not be as rare as an exotic drop of course, but I have to have a minimum of 13 to buy a single exotic. To me that's earning the exotic _______ that I use them to buy. I got Bad Juju from a bounty, but getting the bounty itself felt like winning the lottery, not "earning" it (discussion about Bad Juju's quality is for another discussion ha ha). I got my yellow armor through a drop. Again... I feel like I simply "got lucky" as opposed to "earning." Thanks again for your post Volspa! [spoiler]Please excuse me while I go buy Icebreaker with the coins I [b]earned![/b] .... uh, right after work. lol[/spoiler]
