Every day I play destiny I always see a flood of (in my opinion) generic hunters and a few warlocks scattered around and MAYBE if I'm lucky I'd come across a Titan. I just feel like titans are unpopular even though their subclass (the defender) is a great support class but you have to find a Titan first. I have to thank any titans out there for being there when the team needed support or a damage dealer.I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter too.
this is just my OPINION

Yeah, Titans are dwindling, but can you blame us? We are underpowered in the crucible and there is lots of loot to be made in tiger strikes
I couldn't have said it better Lo pans Ramen

I actually started off with a hunter but have begun developing my Titan. The problem with the Titan that I've seen, and I love playing this class, is the gear. In order to spec out for a great defender in pve you need faction gear from pvp vendors..and really it's the same for the striker. Here in lies the problem with getting marks from the crucible. Titans are at a disadvantage if they don't spec for agility and we are at a disadvantage if we do spec for agility but this just presents a challenge that a lot of the starting titans decided not to face. Once they began getting slaughtered by nova bombs and arc blades they decided that those were better classes and have switched. The other thing is that a lot of players don't really know their play style until playing for a while with each class and I guess they decided locks and hunters were a better fit for them

I feel like I see a lot of titans. Whenever the bounties for killing 25 titans/hunters/warlocks show up it always seems to be my titan one filling up first. Maybe that's why they are becoming extinct! ;)

According to playstation trophy %'s, 9.6% of all players have mastered a warlock subclass, 9.3% for hunter, and 8.2% for titans. So contrary to popular belief, warlocks are more popular than hunters, and yes titans are a minority. Granted, this doesnt account for people that max all 3 for trophies but play as one main class.

Am I the only person that plays as more than one character? It certainly feels like it in the forums. All classes have great perks and I can't wait to start levelling up the sunsinger sub-class, because it seems powerful as hell. If a class doesn't suit you and you think another is more powerful just make a new one, simple.

DrogoZ-0により編集済み: 10/9/2014 5:38:51 PMA solution I've thought about would've been to add roles to the classes? So titans would be more tanky? Maybe boosted defense (PVE, and in fireteams, not solo) and generating slightly more aggro when shooting?

For PVE, I get a constantly recharging over shield when I get a kill with melee, sticky grenades, blinding bubble (thanks helm of saint 14), weapon buff from shield. In a strike, what else do you need? I have a hand cannon that does 277 damage and a shotty that can keep the pace by giving more ammo. Life is good

Mikelarry85により編集済み: 10/9/2014 5:23:06 PMTitan here all day everyday. Nothing and I mean NOTHING from the other classes interests me. as for people who say titans are cheap and depend on supers what Like I am to stand still when an opposing team mate is attacking. Save all that crying for the agony aunt section of the newspaper/ magazines. If I have got super I will use it, even before trying to shoot you. You don't like it well you shouldn't be playing PVP then Goodnight

originally rolled all three classes. had most fun with the hunter. played the titan til 10 and got bored. got stuck at lvl 27 and rerolled another hunter. personal prefrence is all it comes down to, really. each class plays the same with slight tweaks.

4 通の返信Titan is master class. It tanks and deals damage. Who needs to move when your a bullet sponge? But I will says this a Titan with like 9 armor stat and 6 agility is deadly in crucible

I don't know man... I see plenty of us sluggers around. (My highest level toon is a 27 Titan with all Defender and almost all Striker unlocked.) My usual wingman on PS4 also runs a Titan and favors his Defender class, so I've been rocking Striker more recently. I think they're really useful (both subs). Defenders are absolutely awesome in most PvE, and in objective based PvP I hear they're pretty good too. Strikers are surprisingly tactical. If you just go rushing in to try and shoulder-bunt somebody or Havoc smash a group, you usually get shot down. I really like having the Insurmountable Skullfort helm, since it lets me trigger HP regen from a killing punch. Soften an enemy up with gunfire, then punch to kill and gain instant life. Very useful. Having Transfusion guaranteed from the Skullfort also means you can use DFA and Headstrong as separate skills (and Headstrong also grants +1 Agility, which is important IMO). I run Amplify as my melee modifier, so punch kills give me a decent chunk of super bar back as well. I don't usually use Shoulder Charge, since having Unstoppable also grants +1 Armor, but it's a useful ability for 1HK ambushing too. I think there are plenty of Titans out there. I definitely think they're a competitive class, at least for PvE. You have to keep a cool head under fire, but Titans (either sub) can make a big difference when played well.

13 通の返信Titans, ladies and gentlemen, are retarded as hell. Why? I saw one use his panic super on an AFK guy.

4 通の返信I love Titans. I am working on leveling mine up, but it's slow going as I am getting bored with game when playing on my own... If I knew Hunter would be this popular, I would have gone different route for sure. It's not uncommon to be in a lobby with 8/9 hunters...
