Thanks for sharing, Iron Banner did feel off the moment i played it but shalked it up to everyone using good equipment.....but damn...when you shot the hunter that had the suros and died simultanious, he should have swiss cheesed you while you scratched at the paintjob of his shader. So basically Iron banner = Regular Crucible.....what a letdown

It's like they wanted to make a game that featured a leveling system that has zero effect but could still be marketed as a game with a leveling system. With all the scaling down and balancing out level advantages you may as well not have a leveling system...but then it would have been much more difficult to lie to your consumers to push this as RPG - "esque".

Destiny is the best shooter ever made, besides Halo. Iron Banner feels right to me.

Just a few things... 1.He's getting 23 damage on headshots. My Suros Regime does at least 45 damage per headshot, which is almost double. A few bullets would make a huge K/D difference. 2. The OP mainly plays smart, staying in the background. On one-on-one's you notice his health drop incredibly fast. 3. There is a noticeable difference in IB, but I agree with most people that it's too small. Level 4's definitely should get owned in this type of event, especially because of how it was advertised.

Personally think that the only proof necessary that the Iron Banner is shit is the amount of quitting tryhards in it. Beyond ridiculous having to play with less people every game because losers cant take getting killed a few times.

Definitely a big shout out for your fire team. I'm not saying the strategy you used is a bad strategy for control. Obviously it works. I only watched the 2nd vid you posted. You [i]defended[/i]* (it's a legitimate strategy!!!) B after your team had already established dominance of the map at a point where there are two avenues of approach, one in which you must jump to higher ground to get into the capture zone. There was only two times in the entire video you broke from a well defended position and was in a firefight: 2:26 and 4:06. You died both times. At 4:06 you did get a kill. You had the drop on a guy and unloaded half a mag before he turned on you to trade deaths. He killed you because the IB is not balanced. He would have never been able to kill you had you been leveled. In short, you were carried by your teammates and defended* the whole time. Yes, you got lots of kills and judging by the vid are good at PvP. Not saying how you played is bad, I believe it was the perfect strategy for someone playing that knows they are lower level and weaker than other players. I'm just saying using this vid was a bad example for balance issues in IB. Props to you and your homeboys for whoopin' up on some scrubs. *- [i]camped[/i]

You're obviously very skilled. You're kills were on headshots, rocket launcher and 1 FR. You use cover and don't rush people needlessly. You are a very skilled player killing less skilled players. They aren't aiming as well, they are jumping up and down, and you stay in cover well. I say that this is a matter of you playing at an elite level against mediocre competition. EDIT: You also got a bunch of assists and were being assisted.

I feel like the majority of complaints I'm reading stems from the fact that their gear in IB doesn't guarantee them a win before a fight even starts because that's how Bungie advertised it. Personally, I think that's stupid. Skill should be a factor in ANY PVP, regardless of there being "advantages enabled" or not. Boo hoo, you can't kill other low lvl players in one hit while tanking an infinite amount of bullets from them receiving "immune", how terrible to let another player damage you. I just think it's pretty stupid to complain about other players being able to compete against you lol. Went into IB for the first time yesterday as a level 28 and felt like there was a decent advantage I had. I don't usually play crucible so it may be hard to tell, but enemies seemed to die faster and damage scales seemed different. Pretty sure I saw someone survive a shoulder charge from a titan, meaning that your armor does too matter in IB. Anyways... First game in and went 37 kills 7.4 KDR, so I'm sitting here thinking of how bad you must be to complain and moan about not having enough of an advantage over your competition. Just stick to PvE if you want easy steamrolling IMO, not like any people under level 28 would join IB if they had as much of a disadvantage as they would in PvE due to level difference. All that aside, his lowbie white gun shouldn't be doing the same damage as another players fully upgraded legendary gun... Agreed there.

Funny story, my colorblind ass goes anywhere from .25 to 1.5 kd in regular pvp. Doing iron banner with my lvl28 using a regular rare Galahad E I'm going 1.5 to 2.5
