Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?
Talk to me, Guardians.
UPDATE: I know people quit games when they know they won't win. I'm more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you. Stay on target!

To stay on topic, it feels like regular crucible. The power difference doesn't even matter. Red death still has the same time to kill if I'm 298 light or 308 light. If there is a difference, it's so marginal that I can't even tell.

I didn't feel like the rewards were worth my time. There used to be something I was chasing, gear to get me to level 32, etheric light to get me to 34. Now all he has is 280 stuff that is just about worthless.

I have found the first IB 2.0 to be highly disappointing. I usually spend IB week playing as many rounds as possible trying to get all my chars to rank 5 for the sweet gear. Unfortunately when you're trying to build up light and getting gear almost 20 points below your light lvl is highly demotivating. Aslo the drop rate of actual IB gear seemed to be low incomprehension to previous IB yes I got some IB gear but two pieces in however many rounds it took me to get to rank 4.5 does seem a little low. I love the look of the new gear though and am hopefully to see next IB what improvements you guys make before I decide if I will stop playing IB all together.

I found my first fight in the iron Banner to be quite fun. Since the rebalance of weapons that was included in 2.0, it appeared to me that actual prowess in combat appeared to matter more than a set "meta" for the IB. I am not a big Crucible player, but I enjoy it none the less. I found myself winning firefights against three to four people without the standard use of shotguns you would normally see, instead winning with strategic grenade placements and better aiming.

I just worry that after hard mode raid comes out and defense jumps to 330, us non raiding players won't be able to participate is future iron banners and trials because we will be so underleveled. I feel pvp shouldn't be gated by pve content.
