And I changed this post because I felt like it.
Sorry if you didn't get to see the original awesomeness of my troll-acquiring, feministic post.
PS- if anyone has any tips for a fellow warlock with scarce legendary gear: tip away.

2 通の返信In all seriousness, the only female I have encountered so far was on the destinylfg.net site. She added "..I'm a female" to her LFG for VoG. This is the biggest reason I hate feminism. One girl wants to be respected and treated as an equal while another one wants special treatment because vagina. I am sure she got picked up because she was a girl. Probably by a group of 30s.

2 通の返信Tiger strikes for marks. Buy gear. Weekly Nightfall strikes. Raids. RNG is too random to rely on shooting gobs of mobs. Wasted time IMO. What system?

3 通の返信It's a shame I had to view some replies to see what issue you were dealing with. People bashing others in PvP IS a big deal, it's not your fault Bungie have no competitive modes or a skill based matchmaking system. This problem will only get worse when they introduce chat so make sure to hit that opt out button ;) I recently got a message from a typical douche saying how I ruined their game due to my poor performance. I was actually playing my third choice class (lvl 15 Hunter) and was getting used to it again after playing Warlock and Titan for so long. It was my first game of the night and it was bad but I did play the objective (control), after he quit I kept going and started to get to my usual 1.4 kd mode (even with poor gear and little skills unlocked) that I get normally. I normally get around that without trying and higher if I'm in the mood to really try but I just like playing the objective with a good team spirit. I sent them a message saying as much and they replied they are a bit elite with PvP and like to win, I said that's fine but you don't need to message people ruining their gaming experience. I also recommended getting in with a clan or pre made team of 6 to help them cope :)

5 通の返信Sounds like you were being a dried up vag scab, suck it up, ignore it, and find man friends to defend you.

3 通の返信I'm sorry you took down... whatever it is your originally said. Just know this: My fiance is new to gaming, and she's really getting into it. Playing different games and lately a lot of Destiny. She's been afraid to get out into the community because of the way the men act. It's a problem. And sure there are good guys out here who not only have no interest in that but actively speak out against it but---we aren't the majority. So I can't really tell her that it's actually safe, and that the harassment isn't an issue, because it is. I just don't know how to make it stop. I don't even have an apology that would help. ~Ricochet

5 通の返信almost level 29 warlock- most of my head I had to buy. I ended picking up the exotic helmet from Xur. And the queen missions helped me get a different helmet (that I put into my archive when I got the exotic). I'm on ps4 and more than happy to farm strikes and what not if you are on the same system. I also need good raiding peeps (I have yet to get anything but shards from the raid).

3 通の返信Get your vanguard or crucible up that gives good gear. It just takes a while to get your rank to 2

1 返信People behind a screen who will face no repercussions for their social interactions (as long as it's legal) can't be expected to act with common decency. It's a shame, but that's just how it is, and I don't see it changing any time soon.

Sorry you ran afoul of the bastion of progressive thought that is the console FPS community. Now on to goodness! If you're having trouble gearing up I'd assume you're mostly a solo/matchmaking player. I can't offer any advice on pvp (I'm horrifyingly bad), but for getting gear from strikes.... 1. Keep a sniper rifle of each element. Blues are fine. Buy a few ammo re supplies from the gunsmith. This RADICALLY improves your ability to solo content you generally shouldn't (weekly heroic strike, for example), as well as save the day when your two teammates are eating the bottom of elite colossus boot. 2. Tank up. Sunsinger with the right picks is almost as beefy as a defender and does WAY more damage. The passive that causes scorch to generate a shield (on HIT, rather than kills) is easily the best defensive passive you can get. If you're of the voidy persuasion you'll have to play more cautiously. Prep a pack for bloom by shooting one of them a few times before lobbing in a grenade. The chain explosions are hilarious. 3. The stat slant on Warlocks heavily favors a shoot then hide rhythm, ie high impact weapons over bullet hoses. Run patrols with a scout rifle to tighten that aim. Whatever your preferred primary is, the practice will help. Hope there's something useful there for ya!

Fellow Warlock here. (Void walker and sunsinger maxed out, wohoo!) In my experience, the best way to get legendary gear is through strikes and group activities. Pick something at your level or slightly below or above, and bring at least one partner. In addition to xp, reputation and those sweet, sweet vanguard points I've gotten almost all of my legendary gear from things like strike playlists, and daily/weekly challenges :) (and saved up to buy some) If you're playing on Xbox One, feel free to add me.
