I really understand your point. This is one of the reasons that too much hatred around these forums is justified.

Same thing happened to me. Skirmish match me and one guy tie 17kills a piece north of 2.0 k/d. We get rare and nothing, third team mate whopping 4 kills, less than .5 k/d Plan C exorcism fusion rifle. You're welcome for all our hard work kid.
Just to add in my bit to a long thread.
I'm complete garbage at PvP. I have only earned one positive K/D in the dozen or so attempts. However getting the loser marks and the random chance for things does keep me coming back. I feel for the next level players who routinely spank me. However, I do not think that nixing the randoms is the answer. I think there should be an achievement matrix that determines the top half and the bottom half of players. The bottom half have a random drop chance for rares with a slight chance at legendary. The top have a random drop chance for legendary with a slight chance at exotic.
Everyone keeps complaining that it is broken, but really it is working as intended. What if they only gave loot to the best players? People like me would have no reason to play pvp. The best players would be overstocked on the best gear, and average to poor players would hardly ever get anything. I don't think it's a broken system, I think it is a mismanaged system.
Joined last minute into NightFall and got last hit on Vex killing it... got Plan C exotic as reward...
Friends were PISSED while I was laughing my ass off.
Loot system is VERY broken.
lol i played my one and only match of pvp just to see what it was about. i only got 1 kill and spent the rest of the time looking around at the map. and i got rewarded! is it a lottery with the low end weighted to keep you coming back? and what about all the maps we never get in pvE? that eastern flood zone was cool and i really want to check it out
