500 void points at 5 points perkill? Really?
Seriously this is my second exotic bounty and i swear on my life its the most garbage one iv seen so far. Run the moon strike? Fine. 500 hive kills? No problem. Even killing xyor wouldnt be a problem. But noooooo this shit bounty wants 500 points of void damage witch im if im not mistaken at 5 points a peace is a 100 kills. Witch wouldnt be a problem under any other -blam!-ing circumstance. But whats the worst of it all? You loose points for dieing. Way to make this impossible for people who dont use special and heavy weapons all that often bungie! G -blam!-ing g. The least you could do is offer the allternative of 1000 points in pve so you dont -blam!- those who do suck at pvp.
Edit. So after what seemed like an eternity i completed it and now feel like an idiot. So ya thanks for those who game me advice and were supportive@

16 通の返信As long as your k/d is over 0.40, you are gaining points, now I'm a crap pvper also, but I managed to complete that stage, it just took me the whole afternoon

If someone who doesn't play PvP can do it then I'm sure you can manage. I went into the Crucible just to do that bounty with a Void sniper Rifle (only void weapon I had at the time) and 20 control games later I had that part of the bounty complete. Work a bit for it and I'm sure you'll get there

2 通の返信Or... or... (Get a load of this) you can: A). You can suck it up, and just do it. I did it, and so have many others. It's not impossible. B). Quit the bounty. Exotics are the highest tier in the game. Stop expecting to cake-walk your way to the best gear in the game. What next? Are you gonna want an automatic win for just showing up in the Crucible? If you want the best gear, be prepared to earn it.

Step 1: Get a void fusion rifle Step 2: Get a void rocket launcher Step 3... No, that's pretty much all the steps. Also, you are a Warlock, so switch to Voidwalker. Any of your grenade, heavy melee or super kills count. Warlock is the easier class to finish this on.

I got through this last night using a shotgun and playing Rumble for a few hours. I was at 475 of 500 for soooo long... it seemed like anytime I got close I would sabbotage myself into going on a serious death streak. Then... I finally had a decent game, finished in the top slot, got Hard Light as a reward --- spit take!!!!! After that I went on 2 serious death streaks before finally getting to 500. I felt like a total db for being that guy that just used his shotgun the entire time..... but atleast it wasnt a fusion rifle.

This was pretty difficult for me at first too. Find a void combo that works well for you (for me it was fusion rifle and heavy mg) and don't be careless with your deaths. I prefer control because it's easier to anticipate where the enemy will be and avoiding extra deaths is crucial. Even if you average a 1:1 k/d where all your kills are void damage, you're looking at 167 kills which isn't too crazy. Another thing to keep in mind is to not get tunnel vision and only use your void weapons. Utilize your other weapons and abilities in order to keep yourself alive and always try to find a teammate to shadow. Really I feel like avoiding deaths and being a little more deliberate about how you play by keeping your objective in mind can make all the difference. Good luck on your bounty

Consider it as practice. Learn how to fight in the Crucible using this. Keep at it. Find a way. Or be a quitter. Choice is yours. My only complaint with it is the lag. My assist kill numbers are about equal to my kill numbers because I'm always lagging. If half of those counted as kills, I'd be there by now. The lag is the biggest stumbling block to this IMO. Other thing that works: camp a control point in a control match. Make that b*tch yours. Don't let anyone in. No need to run around facing the Suros' or shotties. Kick back with a fusion and own that one spot.

I thought the same thing. It wasn't that bad. And then I got really lucky and pulled aethions epilogue out of the raid. It's a auto rifle primary that does void damage. The it was easy. Plus I had a friend help me some in rumble.
