20 通の返信Everyone keeps saying how the story “wasn’t very deep” or “was disappointing”. THE STORY ISN’T OVER YET. This is the tease part of the relationship. We have barely even made eye contact across the bar; let alone walked over and started chatting. (If you don’t understand that reference, get out and interact with live human beings once in a while.) Give it time people. This is the quiet before the storm. This is the painfully slow period of gaining our Destiny legs, learning about the world around us, and training like HELL to fight the Darkness. We are about to go where no Guardian has gone before. We are the first generation that will show the way to the next one and the next one. There are entire worlds, races, colonies we haven’t even been introduced to yet. So stop assuming we know all all that has been and will be revealed. Stop asking if Destiny’s story “was” anything. Stop complaining that the entirety of this rich, multilayered, complicated story wasn’t revealed in the first month. I, for one, am glad for that.

3 通の返信From the get go, bungie has emphasized that they want players to gain their own personal experiences and share those experiences with friends. They are depending on that aspect of personalization to act as the meat in their story As it was stated before me, the story isn't finished yet-it won't be finished for about 10 years

2 通の返信My experience was what story? Just excuses to avoid story telling. I felt some wonder for what's next is there gonna be a bomb shell next story mission. To only get a lame scan or kill order mission. With some oddly one moment ghost knows nothing then next he knows all sorts of info off hand about the vex. To me it feels like there is a lot missing in between each story mission. Yes there is side missions and strikes and raids but even then there is lots of missing information for what is at hand for launch.

1 返信"The story isn't over yet" is NOT a good excuse for what Bungie did with it. I really (or really want to) enjoy this game, but the story was very compelling and at times felt irrelevant. The fact that yes the story isn't finished yet could be a valid point if what story this game shipped with was well done, but unfortunately this is the worst story telling Bungie has done to date. Don't get me wrong though, I still hope this game is able to make a comeback and I think it can if the expansion packs for the game offer the story experience the base game lacks. If they can do what 343 industries did with the second half of Spartan Ops Season One, we may actually be in for a very interesting story line, but as it is now I know that Bungie can and must do better. P.S. The fact that Activision probably played a big role in this is prelevant if not blatantly obvious.

2 通の返信Wait what story! Story was pretty non extant to me. I am not attached to any character of the story. Damn did I hate playing story mission. Was it just mean or did the beginning specially suck? How can you be dead for a long time and come back to life when you're a human or awoken. I guess biological bodies don't decompose in the future. Another question why are the awoken even fighting with the humans?
