The Vex Mythoclast makes me want to quit playing Crucible
This gun is the most ridiculously OP weapon in the game. Did you EVEN TEST THIS GUN BUNGIE.
It fired almost as fast as a full auto and does 56 damage per shot when your dumb character has a maximum of 225 health with toughness all the way up. It's essentially a 4 shot kill with an extremely high rate of fire.
This gun LITERALLY makes me want to stop playing MP. I'm not even joking right now. I just encountered this gun twice in a row on matchmaking. This gun actually makes me not want to go into matchmaking. It's that bad.

2 通の返信This is stupid to me. I think they deserve it. I'm working my ass off to get it. If you can't beat them join them. The only people that have this are those who have completed the hardest event in the game. This is capitalism at it's best.

1 返信I just fought one for the first time in rumble the other day on rusted lands. I will have to say if the person sits on the outskirts of the maps and keeps people at range you can't fight back. Unless you have a super or manage to snipe them. I killed him 2 of his 3 deaths and that was because he spawned in close quarter situations. So it's not unbeatable. Just really freaking difficult to deal with.

3 通の返信Let's make End Game PVE guns, then add PVP, now let's nerf the incentive to play the VOG on hard to cater to PVP. Brilliant. This is why you don't mix Leveled PVE mechanics with PVP.

2 通の返信i've played three Crucible games in the last 12 hours that really frustrated me to the point of considering a refund. The first one was a Skirmish match where one of my opponents had this gun. If a lot of people are reporting that they have gone against this weapon then it must be more common than what the critic trolls are saying. Anyway, even with teamwork this guy alone catapulted his team's score to 2500 in a matter of seconds. The second match was a Rumble game and included someone with a Legendary Fusion Rifle. I hardly ran in to him, but he managed to sit in one small corner of the map and rack up enough kills to get a 5.75 K/D. Usually I don't look at K/D but this is a good broad example of artificially raising the skill gap. It's no longer a PvP challenge. Instead it feels more like a player versus weapon challenge. In my opinion that is very wrong when you try to balance an online environment. The third game was another Rumble match with the same opponent from the second game plus another opponent with the Suros Regime. Even getting the drop on these guys and pelting them with headshots was a lost cause. The skill gap is artificially raised when you have clear outliers in a pool of generic tools. These guys were at the top of the rumbles by very large margins. I'm not saying that they don't deserve to be at the top. I am saying I don't know if they deserve to be at the top because I don't know how skillful they are without the weapons that clearly break the online experience.

I haven't played PVP in about a week so have yet to see anyone in the game above level 28 or using this gun. Is it really that bad? Or is it that this gun is only awarded to those who have spend hundreds of hours on the game so they are very skilled?

Does it now? I ran into multiple people last light on the other team with it. I still won most of my gunfights. They couldn't handle the recoil at all. Granted I was on my lvl 14 warlock at the time with crap guns so even with op guns they still sucked.

2 通の返信2 things, it's not unbeatable by any standard, I get outplayed by suros and shingen e quite a lot. And I noticed you said "I've played against it 2 times already" it's so rare right now it shouldn't even be an issue.

2 通の返信What I don't understand is it's labelled as a fusion rifle but it's a primary gun? Am I missing something thought fusion rifles was a special weapon!
