I love the Grimoire Cards! Now, I do think there should be access to the lore in game. However, I like that Bungie is trying something new. For me it works out. Between work and school I don't get much time to grind and get bored enough to read lore in game. I'm probably missing half the story in Skyrim because of this. So when it gets slow at work I get to read the cards. This keeps me connected to the game when I'm away, and when I learn something new I can't wait to get back home and play some more. Bungie has found a way to keep me engaged in their game even when I don't have access to my console. I don't know of another game that does that, (if you do please tell me!)
