Realy, since the patches its only got worse, i cant see a solution for bungie in this matter.
Only option i think they could have is if they made the same thing square enix did with Final Fantasy 14, remake Destiny from scracth.
I can't belive bungie will keep this up for long, if they value their community, their reputation and their social lives (bet some life threats should be there somewhere) they will make up for the mess Destiny is somehow, either with a briliant idea to make all this crap we've got so far make sense or...idk things look too grim for them right now to consider any other options for this problem.
I see alot of videos with 7-8-9-30 solutions for destiny to get better, but realy, the charm is already gone, there is no way any changes in the current state the game is will make up for the content its implemented now (maybe, just my opinion no ofence).
I guess the only sensible thing for them to do is apologize, rework the mess they did and use the 325mill they currently earned from the first sales they had and rework this....thing...they call their dreams come true.
BUT this time listening to their community !
From what i've seen from bungie, their replies on the matter...feels like they lived under a rock for all those years.
Or better yet, a cave.
Honestly, it feels criminal what they did to the community and the players who had high hopes for a game like this, I for one didnt saw a sci-fi game with so much expectations since, well, mass effect i guess ?
Funny thing though is that the same thing happend to bioware and they had their founders leave just as bungie fired O´donnell fired during the game production, diferent companies, same circunstances.
Its things like this that make me wonder, what is the point in trusting in publishers that keep beating each other for the best War shooter game of the year with no regard for their community or better yet their customers that give em their money so religiously evry dam year in the hopes they will have a decent entretaiment ?
Even if they put a new face in front of em to take the shots back ?
This is not a whining to say im done with the game or that im angry about something i keep telling myself ''i should've seen it comming'', Im just trying to put in perspective what this ''game industry'' have been throwing at us and we have been baiting like fools for the past decade.
Hope for good comments.

5 通の返信all they need to do is actually implement the content that is already on the disk..for example..ras-2 bunker, seraphim vault, jovian complex, huge areas of venus(giant vex tower anyone?) dozens of other spots clearly leading to content without any content. besides that..LEVELED PATROLS!!!! seriously wtf bungie? pvp..make our equipment actually matter. sure i get balancing and all that..so make leveled pvp and stop putting lvl 9s with lvl 29s. if i have full raid legendaries, exotics..i should not be dying to a lvl 10 with garbage greens. make it pvp but against other people..unfair advantage for hardcore players? yeah thats the damned point make our effort matter. strikes..how hard would it be to add randomized encounters? "hey instead of making 3 waves of hive spawn while he opens the door, lets make it an ogre bansai charge, 8 ogres with 3 witches to support, that'll surprise them." yeah..not hard. list of enemies in the encounter..rng pick one set. voice acting..its garbage you know it is, and I KNOW dinklage and the others are capable of better, redo that crap. music..meh..just meh. i don't know what to do with it, its annoying though. a playlist of my own music would be cool but probably not doable with any reasonable amount of effort in game, will just stick with my other equipment for music while i play. (you could add unlockable music from grimoires though, would be pretty cool to have a customizable music playlist selecting from stuff you already have in game..like i get to pick my own boss fight music etc) queen's wrath and iron banner..seriously they're garbage unless you give those legendaries some sort of special effect if you won't let us salvage them. queen's equipment for example should all have bonus damage to fallen..iron banner should have pvp only bonuses etc. i would have thought that would be plainly obvious. raid..love it not much to improve besides you absolutely should be guarunteed a legendary if you complete it. nightfall strike..love it but make a level 30 version, it's stupidly easy at lvl 29 or 30. another thing about patrols..MORE MISSION VARIETY. it is mind numbingly boring since there are very limited options. very very simple changes would liven it up..like "go to this place and scan it, be prepared the enemy are guarding it heavily" go there..you start scanning..crap randomly spawns and attacks you while you scan. or "guardians are fighting and need your aid, seek out your fellow guardians and offer assistance" get X number of assists on enemies in the area (ie you hit them but someone else kills them). or "such and such item is decaying but the tower needs it, mount your sparrow and get them before it is gone!" add a timer, get to such and such place before timer is up and dinklebot the item. that shouldn't be hard... racing..enough said. make things like..ghost shells, sparrows, ships, shaders, emblems, etc have some effect besides 'i'm a pretty snowflake love me for having fashion sense like an 8 year old girl playing dressup" honestly..that is just..awful. if i want to play a dressup game, i'll go see a psychiatrist since i would have clearly lost my mind. lounge area in the tower..how is there not a bartender that i can buy liquor and/or space drugs from and get f'd up with blurry screen, unstable walking, and/or new color palette. watchdogs was awful and even it had drunkenness..and you HAVE A BAR!!! the stranger..why is the gun she gives me not a legendary? i have plenty so i don't care now but when i finished the campaign i was a little annoyed she gave me a blue...that has to piss off other new people. hadronic essence, plasteel plating, sapphire wire etc etc..dear god let us sell this for glimmer or trade it in for reputation or 100 for X amount of experience at the cryptarch..or weapon parts for weapons at the weaponsmith..really i don't care just give me something to use it for. i have nearly 1k hadronic and 200+ of the others and i will NEVER use it all. exotics..1 armor 1 weapon, thats perfect but give me an exotic emblem to shoot for that lets me equip more than 1..its painful deciding between multiple great exotics..even if it wasn't allowed in pvp. not a big issue but the decisions are truly unpleasant. biggest thing..paid DLC..i'm all for it except when it's already on the disk. i already PAID for what is on the disk. enough said. pvp/pve missions.."a rogue group of guardians are attempting to claim the bounty on _________. stop them and elminate the target first" exactly what it sounds like..sepik's prime mission but with two groups of 3 guardians that have to clear the mission AND kill eachother to be the one who gets the killshot on the boss. would be insanely fun.

In the back of my head I was thinking the same. A total reboot. We are all pretty sure that the original game was cut up and blocked off. So they could release it as DLCs. There are things that need to be added to make this game more social, faster partying up. I saw they are going to add voice to match made parties? That's it? No other comm? The loot system is to be fixed. A little late for most. It needs to be done. They will not reboot/restart the game. They are to proud. It's " the game they wanted to build " We must play it " their way" I bought " their hype " I watched their interviews , read their stories in the mags. It's not what we saw or heard. I will wait it out, I bought the expansion pass. I hope it gets better.

DIablo 3 was a miserable (mechanically, loot wise) pile of crap and it recovered. The basis of that being, it was fun enough that I, and clearly thousands of others, didn't mind going back to the game after they overhauled some things. I believe Destiny can survive this, Bungie just needs to get their collective heads together and fix the issues that exist. Make the OP weapons actually OP, fix the buggy raid (if i get back ported through that time gate one more time...), and get that voice chat working. That's like, what, 40% of the complaints right there? And they've already addressed the voice chat and loot system issues, so they're listening and I believe the game is going to recover. It's just sad that it has to recover at all.

The biggest problem for them is they cant unscrew the lack of narritive in the story. That killed newcomer interest, reviews, made people drop out early ext. The complete lack of story isn't going to get fixed, they are stuck with that forever. At this point I think they are just going to keep applying band-aids. Sweet talk the fanbase on one hand, sell paid dlc on the other.

11 通の返信OHIMGONEGETCHAにより編集済み: 9/28/2014 12:46:46 PMYou do know you don't HAVE to play this game right? Return it if its so bad. The fact that so many people take the time out to log on here, whine and complain, only solidifies the fact that this is a great game. The REAL problem is that you've played it too much, are addicted, and want but can't have more at the moment. Wipe your tears and go outside.

4 通の返信If they could make more expansive maps, more weapons, and a better variety of enemies to kill without the repetition I think a lot of issues would be solved. Let's see if Bungie truly cares in the next steps it makes. I dare say Jason Jones is a lazy developer or fool...

1 返信The first thing wrong with your post is that you assume that everybody can be pleased by the same content. This is not true. If Destiny were a Fantasy setting, I would not touch it with a 29 and half foot pole. Seeing as how Destiny is a Sci-Fi setting, I'm willing to bet there are some people out there who feel the same way I do preferring Fantasy to Sci-fi. I enjoy Console and PC games but I will not by for both or all my platforms. I have a friend who is strictly PC and refuses to buy console even if he wants to play with me. The next thing wrong with your post is that it's only been just under three weeks. Not every multiplayer game gets out the door bug free. I don't even think there's a game in all of gaming history that has ever seen Launch completely bug free. The fact you and others are willing to write off the game this early is what saddens me. But I will shed no tears when you decide to leave. The game is stated by Bungie to be constantly evolving. That is the nature of these games. They evolve for better or worse as time goes on. But it takes time to gather enough data to make a clear distinction between a legitimate issue and someone who is having a bad day and biased toward something. Investigations can last for weeks if not months. This is not a crime drama where the mystery is solved in under 25, 40 minutes with the last bit of time being used for an action scene to catch whodunit. A lot of the times, these aren't quick fixes. You say "Fix the drop rate on Legendary Engrams". They need to ensure that by tweaking the numbers on Legendary Engrams doesn't change the code and cause say... your Sparrow summon to accidentally on every sixth summon to spawn a Major Ogre directly on top of you. Code is never straightforward. It takes time to make sure everything works as intended. The fact that they are responding as they are to issues that are being brought up speaks volumes. And chances are they will never get it right the first time. You want a company to care about your needs and produce products that fulfill your expectations. I get that. I get that everyone else feels the same way to varying degrees. Not everyone however, is created equal. Even a copy will have flaws that make it an original all it's own.

3 通の返信I enjoy destiny. Lack of content, yes. What game isn't now and days though? Haha did you see that garbage they call titanfall? Just be thankful it's not a complete flop.

48 通の返信Honestly, the community here has gone to absolute shit. I used to hang out on bungie.net quite a lot, but now I rarely come because I know I will just be reading a lot of bitching and moaning. I don't think Destiny is the greatest game ever, there are issues that need to be addressed. However, I believe the community is just overhyping these issues, as they did the game.

1 返信Destiny is pretty okay as is. Not great, but off to a good start. The game is in it's very early days and will almost certainly continue to improve as it matures, but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable and playable now. The extreme and ridiculously venomous hate expressed by some people seems to be only a minority of players, although it is a vocal one. I hear you people talk about how the game is a disaster, how it's unplayable, how you were lied too,how you want to take legal action, how Bungie should expect death threats... Some of you have valid concerns and complaints, but I seriously think most of you are... I don't know. I don't want to be rude. The game is fine. Not brilliant, but fine. If you don't like it, just go play something else. It's not the end of the world, and even if you hated the game you're only out $60. And chances are if you come back in a moth/6 moths/a year the game will have changed and improved, and you might like it more. Complaining about a game you don't like is a waste of your time, and is only diminishing the experience for those of us who do liek teh game.

If you mean by start listening to the community then yes. All they really need to do is adapt the core changes that they missed at launch and it'll be fine. We don't need change that'll cripple the game, simply changes that will make it more unique. All we ever really wanted was a game with content. Defining the meaning of game. Games are supposed to be fun not draggy and flat or content-less.

Custom Games, a Balanced PVP(those saying it is I -blam!-ing laugh), and a coherent and good story, also lore being in the actual game would be a start. The mechanics, sounds, and style are great, but everything else is subpar and will be "fixed" when bungie release their expansion(but my guess is the content is on disk and it will just be unlocked)
