Destiny raid loot
So me and my crew were going through the vault of glass. Some peopme were given armor and equipment from a section completion and chests. My friend was even given red death (exotic pulse rifle). All I have been getting is ascendant materials. I don't mind getting them, but is there a reason why that's all I am getting? And what items would be given for a hunter after beating the final boss Atheon? Cause that's where we are stuck

5 通の返信Yup 7th time in the vault this week and still only one piece of armour for the titan and one for my hunter. Total number of shards 95 total energy 87 I've been keeping count. A few legendary weapons and the ship are a welcome break in the shard/energy overload.

2 通の返信RNG is RNG, which sucks if its not rolling in your favor. So far I have yet to get a single piece of raid armor. I didnt make it the opening week, but have gone every week since: wk1: Raid scout rifle, warlock bond, shards & energy wk2: raid auto rifle, raid shotgun, warlock bond, energy, & chatterwhite wk3: warlock bond, raid machine gun, warlock bond, shards, & chatterwhite They should make the shader, class item, and ship 1st time rewards and remove from the loot rolls, and increase the chance for armor pieces.

1 返信You're just unlucky probably. It's an RNG loot-system after all. I know how you feel though, it sure is demoralising when you get Shatter White and 3 Ascendant shards for the 7th time.

1 返信I hear you. I have completed the Raid 3 times and all I have gotten was Ascended Shards, Chatter White, and a Legendary Rocket Launcher.

1 返信The best way to do it is go in with a group that has done it already. All the good stuff will go to you since you're the only one receiving rewards. I got nothing 4 strikes on normal and 2 on hard in a row, then tried this way and got two pieces.

Hmm First time: Hunter cloak and shards Second time: Raid boots and chest, Monte Carlo, Vision of Confluence, energy, shards Hard Atheon: Raid helm and Timebreaker sparrow. Such a crapshoot. Didn't realize how many times it was taking folks to get those armor drops :( hope it doesn't take me a month to get gauntlets

well not sure if you guys know this but there's actually 5 chests in the raid. I get ascendants a pair of boots the ship and chatter white I've never gotten a weapon yet. oddly enough I get my exotic engrams from chest. drops on Mars and Earth

Across my multiple clears on 3 characters and on both normal/hard I have seen 3 pieces of armor between them (2 chests, 1 helmet). I have received a good amount of weapons which is great but, overall, I have seen ascendant materials. Due to that I am currently sitting at 102 shards and 31 energy (energy has always been more rare for me). Long story short, it truly is random as I see some people with 3 pieces of raid armor only to check their pages and see they have ran it once or twice. I suggest running it on hard only as you up your chances of armor based on the double loot perk of "hard only" raiding from start to finish (which I just discovered and wish I knew before hand). In terms of your question about items off of Atheon. He has been extremely generous to me as my Hunter is my main (despite the fact my Warlock has received more armor from the raid) as he can drop Atheon's Epilogue, Visions of Confluence and, my personal favorite and what I consider to be the best weapon in the game - Corrective Measure. He can also drop MIDA, Hawkmoon, Last Word and (speculation) any other exotic weapon save the Mythoclast (which only comes from Hard Mode via his loot table - very common drop by the way). If I was in your shoes again and was considering what would be the best loot drop for my class as a Hunter I would be hoping for Corrective Measure, Visions of Confluence and then the Epilogue (which was amazing before the nerf and now is not as good in terms of Oracle killing - especially on HM).

2 通の返信I've cleared twice on Normal and did Atheon on hard. 1st Clear - Titan Mark, Atheon's Epilogue, Raid Guantlets, Chatterwhite, and Shards 2nd Clear - Titan Mark, Chatterwhite, and Shards Atheon Hard - Raid Helm, Atheon's Epilogue, and Ship Currently at the Gatekeeper checkpoint for this week. The guys I was with this week had never cleared it. All I've gotten from 4 chests and two bosses is...shards. A buddy did it with two characters this week...got a piece of gear for each and 8 weapons. Including two exotics.

12 通の返信My first victory in the vault on normal yielded: Ascendant materials, hunter cloak, vision of confluence scout rifle, preadyths revenge sniper and chatter white. The second: ascendant materials, confluence scout rifle and chatter white. I wish they would implement a better reward system for the raid, I got essentially nothing for 6hrs of work. Ascendant materials are nice but I don't feel they're worth that amount of time. It's especially frustrating for people who don't get the same fire team each time, cause every time you add a new teammate you have to spend alot of time getting into the groove and that makes things take 5+ hrs.

7 通の返信I know your pain man, 4 straight runs and not a piece of gear to show for it. Normally I am against the whole "we should be guaranteed Blah Blah...." but in this case I am getting the other end of it and am starting to think that a higher drop rate for gear in the raid might not be a bad idea......

doomshamanにより編集済み: 10/15/2014 4:56:21 PMThe raid loot is bad, considering the time, effort and that it's a weekly reset event there should be a high chance for blue and legendary engram loot drops and loot chests should have at least one guaranteed raid gear piece on top of the other stuff. I understand the we need to stay in game so keep grinding but there has to be some worthwhile rewards to keep everyone enticed. There has to be a balance, adding new content rather than repetitive grinding will do the trick. There is no excuse considering we had the limited Queen's event that rewarded a guaranteed gear piece for each mission. The gear wasn't great but comparing the time and effort between the two, I think my suggestion above is well justified.

1 返信You're writing my life story. I was thinking if I beat it 2x a week on 3 diff characters who are all the same class, I could be a lvl 30 on 1 of those characters in 2036... IF I get the required gear. I've beaten it 2x a week on 1 character the past 3 weeks at least. It's sad that you can only get stuff from it once a week. People like us will never reach 30 :( I read somewhere the reasoning could be to keep the balance between hardcore nerds like us and casual gamers who play 3 hrs a week. Meh. Lastly, it just feels unrewarding.
