New patch, Regarding the queen's armor
So, With the new patch effectively removing the ability to obtain ascendant shards from the Queen's armour, please explain something.
Why would anyone with legendary armor ever even bother. There is literally ZERO reward, ZERO reason, to continue to do these missions now that those of us who already had legendary equipment before the event can no longer obtain rare and MUCH NEEDED ascendant shards.
Goddamn ridiculous.

We set it so it only drops the same items over and over and people dont want to keep them all? In fact they are actually getting them only for materials farming because that material is otherwise pathetically random to obtain? We'd better remove that then because the 9 slots we gave them on their person and the few more shared slots in the vault are ample to continue to store all this useless armor.

5 通の返信Queen's Wrath is now officially pointless. I don't even have full legendary gear, I'm missing a pair of boots. All you get from the Queen's Wrath mission though is chest plates and headgear. The same over and over again. So why bother?

I know right!! They totally removed the only good reason to play the kill orders if you already have full legendary. It would have been better if they made it to where you got armor for all three classes. Then I could just save the armor for when I make a hunter or warlock. Now it's effectively a waste of time to do the missions for 2 or 3 class materials (plasteel, hadronic essence, sapphire wire).

4 通の返信We have been guided by Destiny's tutorial system to "Hold (Button) to dismantle" to salvage useful materials from our unwanted/duplicate items. Since there is no selling to vendor or trading to other players, what else is there to do but to dismantle? You can't even THROW IT AWAY! So how is dismantling 7-8 of the same "Queen Armor" an exploit then? Even the dismantle button is there for you to use for each and every Queen loot you earn... Besides, the RNG for the Queen loot is so depressing to the point where most of the guys I ran the Epic modified missions with stocked up at least 7-8 chests or helmets (Of course, dismantled because you can only hold 9 pieces of item class). And for some poopoo reason, gloves and boots were not included in the drop table. The Queen's army does not manufacture gloves or boots, seriously? Lastly, what is up with the Queen PVP bounties for killing X amount of guardians while wearing the Queen's class item/shader/emblem being available on the last few days? Do they seriously think we would reach Rank 2 Queen Rep with only 6 Bounties per day without any faction-class item like New Monarchy/Future War Cult, while sneaking in Queen PVP bounties that virtually cannot be completed by anyone at this point in time unless they managed to exploit some bounty refreshing bug? If you guys were going to remove the Ascendant Shards from Queen's legendaries, did you ever think of maybe adding more variety to the loot offered by the missions? What are we gonna do with 9 Queen's Vest from now on? How are we going to reach Rank 3 by the time the event ends if bounties that cannot be completed keep popping up day after day?

3 通の返信Destiny, like everything activision makes, is a skinner box. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operant_conditioning_chamber it's a scientific method for pathologically addicting living things to something. It is a particularly CRUEL skinner box as those who work the most at it are punished at 27 and up, where the grind is particularly long and unrewarding, and there is ultimately no real pont. WE aren't even rewarded for this seasonal activity

Disappointing because it has some potential, but their actions don't mimic their words. I'm done with this game until they actually fix the problems they created.

1 返信Better to do the Strike Playlist instead... Once you have the helmet and chest piece you only get the same again and again and again the more times you run them. What is even funnier is that you can fight to kill the Winter Kell and get a chest piece but also run the 2nd mission in the campaign AND GET THE VERY SAME CHEST PIECE. Makes. No. Sense.

these -blam!-ers and took our money and are giving us nothing back. shit its rare enough to get shards and now they took that away even tho we are sacrificing our gear for it. these bungie developers are the most dumbest decision makers of al time.

I posted this same sentiment in another thread. My guess is queens armor was implemented by bungie to give more opportunity for scrub nubs to get gear before iron banner. Otherwise there might be an overwhelming abundance of cry babies on here demanding bungie. "Fix" it just like the loot cave. -blam!- the queen and the horse she rode in on.

10 通の返信Public events and a raid? Public events pop every 10 minutes or so while farming and give ascendent mats. Queens Wrath is applicable to a very large number of players. Take a step back and realize not everything has to apply to you. Start a new toon or grind some mats you KNOW you will need soon and

2 通の返信agreed though noone seems to ask the question: are all these patches neccesarily BUNGIE's ideals? Isn't activision (which as we all know have a game of their own coming out soon) also a part of the destiny team? Could there be possibly more going on behind the scene that we arent seeing? cus forgive me if this seems too conspiracy theorist for you but wouldnt it make sense if activision has say to make destiny crappy in the hopes it will bring customers to them? just sayin AW is so close to release.

I worked my ass off to get my Crucible and Vanguard to get up to rank 2 in order to get full legendary equipment in order to get passed level 24, so there should be no "problem" for those who can't get Legendary armor. Now I need shards to level up my character, and now I can't level up my character through the Queen's Wrath because of their removal of the shards. Really Bungie?"

4 通の返信There isn't ZERO reason to do it, you can get legendary weapons from doing the kill orders. I'm guessing it's pretty rare, but doing kill orders is how I got my first legendary sniper rifle :) and it looks sick pink

The only reason I am currently doing it (on my main) is for the reputation with the thought process that sooner or later they will add some excellent items via maxed (3) rep. As far as the Wrath bounties there is no reason, what so ever, to do them anymore on my main as they give neither rep nor any item that is viable.
