So I'm picking up on a lot of hate for Destiny. And I get it; it's not the shining Borderlands/CoD/Halo everybody was hyped for. It has problems, broken quests, matchmaking, server-issues, "rinse-and-repeat" content, etc... I'm not going to make any apologies for the devs. They could've made a better game, there's no doubt about that. But I like it. I have fun with it. I have friends who are [i]notoriously[/i] hard to please who like it. Whenever I'm on, there are tons of other guardians going about their business. And while I've encountered a few bad eggs, most are ready willing and able to help out. I wouldn't have gone so far so fast without the kindness of strangers (and friends of course!), and I hope I've been helpful to others. I know I wont change any minds. I know this wont be read by Bungie. But I've said my piece. If you want to hop up on the soapbox and preach, go ahead, that's what these forums are for.
