How do you know it wasnt intended by bungie? You nor I can confirm or deny that. It hasnt been addressed in 2 weeks now, however several other mechanics/problems occured in game and bungie was quick on a fix like less then 20min. It is also being defended by the mods on the bungie forums. I will glady search and post the link if you want to see it. This is not the only place in the game to farm endless spawns either there are 5 others I know about. All MMO, hack-n-slash, rpg, shoot n loot games have mechanics like or similar to this. Besides does this really have an effect on how you play? An honest question have you played many games like this? Are you strictly coming from straight shooters like COD or BF4? Its my observation the most of the people who are against this have not had much play time with a game similar to this and are unfamilar how rng games work. Just my 2 cents. I respect everyones opinion but have not seen any valid arguments as to why this bothers people so much!

They also stop EVERYONE else's game, because by dancing in the cave they stop the spawns that level 1-5 players need. That's a bannable offense. On the other hand, the cave looters help the low level players because those players get credit for that portion of the mission and experience just by standing in the area. FURTHERMORE (wait for it)... YOU non-dancing griefers (you know the morons who stand in front of you, try to knife you, try to push you, etc) end up benefiting too. didn't think about that did you. if you are there griefing in a way that doesn't stop the spawning, then you are getting drops and XP too. how does that sit with you. Just by being in the area you are getting experience. are you going to ask Bungie to remove the experience you got while you were griefing others? SO by dancing in the cave you are inhibiting the low level players in a way the cave looters aren't, and if you are just a moron who is griefing in a way that isn't dancing in the cave then you are gaining the XP and loot is dropping for you as well. Now that you are on notice that just being there gives you experience.... what's your next move....

This game is rng based plain and simple. Anything can drop at anytime. I was full legendary prior to doing the cave with crucible/vanguard marks and recieved my exotic suros regime via a pvp match which I placed 1st in. I also completed the raid in the first week. The cave didnt drop any green level appropriate items for me dropped some blues and on occasion a legendary engram, the next step was to get your engrams to turn into something good, again another rng based step. The cave is good for getting cryptarch levels which give you a nice little package which could contain blues or purples. One time I had 4 Legendary purples pop, this was my reason for the cave to level my gear so I could start nightfall strikes which is harder then the raid imo. Again I didnt hear you explain how people cave farming actually hurts your gameplay in anyway. Also your response to policing the cave, go for it, also been stated by bungie and forum mods that harassment/griefing are against the TOS, again if you like I can search the forums and get you the post. People have been suspended already for griefing. Of all the caves surely you can find a better one to go and dance in.

Why do I have to find a better cave? Maybe they can move on? It seems silly. There may be valid arguments on both sides, but the bottom line is players are bypassing the designed gameplay to upgrade themselves, and their weapons as easily as possible to gain a better advantage now and in the future. Everyone is ranked in this game, and yes the exploit will impact that as well. How does leveling in PvP work? Do you know? Can a lvl 4 with starter armor and weapons compete with a lvl 28 warlock in legendaries? Because I've played PvP from low level on up and better gear and armor does help your fight. So to answer your question... the gain a lot for little effort, while others pain and struggle through it. Not fair. Period.

I'd have to call BS on this. My son who is great in CoD, got on the PvP in Destiny using a level 8 or 10 character (Lowest level you can unlock crucible) and just the stuff he had gotten doing the campaign to that point, and was holding his own very nicely in crucible. Of course he's playing a blade dancer and uses a shotgut... but that's a whole other argument. So yes a low level player CAN own higher level, well geared players in crucible.

Purposely getting in the way to impede a player and activities is a bannable offense. Second bypassing game mechanics? You obviously are playing the wrong game, the whole basis of rng games kill, loot repeat! Everything I mean everything you do in this game is farming by some set of standards. There will always be an efficient method over others. Lastly I arguably have the best auto rifle in the game at this point so when iron banner comes am I gonna get flamed for putting in my time and achieving victory with the hardest content and getting far superior gear? People will always complain about something. My gripe is why people are complaining about a mechanic that is the root of the game. As far as pvp damage and defense are baseline but some weapon and armor bonuses help but not a huge deciding factor in skills. Skill tree unlocks are however a huge factor a level 20 will jave an edge because the sheer amount of builds.
