Faction XP >> than random drops. Gonna be laughing when they are selling exotics to rank 10 when the DLC comes out and you loot grinders are complaining because you didn't rank up... You are guaranteed legendary gear at certain ranks... I haven't noticed engrams giving better stuff from ranking up the cryptarch - pretty sure the only benefit is the free engrams with each rank.

Well this is an easy way to get glimmer with boosters. Well this is some what an easy way to lvl ur ALTS. Well this is a easy way to get motes of light. Well doing this can score you legendary engrams when ur bounties and marks are done. Well public events and or a huge fallen vs hive war ensues occasionally. Well this increases your grimoire scores. Well shoot I thought you said to convince you TO USE THE CAVE. Well im not erasing this. Posted.

7 通の返信You don't get that much from the loot cave. Maybe 1-5 legendaries and hour. And those legendaries can't even get you to level 30! Only to level 29. Oh and did I mention there is a possibility that a public event will spawn and kick your ass? Cause it's impossible to do by your self and no one is ever by the loot cave to help out. Your better off dying 1000 times trying to complete the vault if glass on hard. Trust me.

I honestly only use it to level up new armor and guns fast before taking them into strikes. I havent gotten shit from the cave thats useful. Ive gotten one purple engram and it yielded a the lowest possible rare item that i didnt need. Like i said, max out your gear and hit the strikes to get vanguard points.

1 返信It's slow, boaring, and a waste of time. If your criptark rank isn't super high, then you will mostly get better gear from the Vanguard, Crucible, and factions. I get better gear with my tower reputation then I do from random engrams.

9 通の返信I don't use the lootcave and I'm pretty sure I outgear 99% of the people. There is your reason, plus it would be extremely boring and dumb to actually farm it.

3 通の返信Derityにより編集済み: 9/22/2014 6:05:06 PMYou can get to Level 29 by buying all gear from Vendors and upgrading them. Complete enough bounties and you'll get an Exotic Weapon. You can only get to Level 30 by Raiding. If you level up using the loot cave, you will still have to unlock the remaining missions and planets via missions. The loot cave is nothing but grinding Engrams hoping for a 1/10,000,000 chance of getting an Exotic Auto Rifle. Most people average about 1 Legendary Engram per hour there, and it seems like Legendary items come from Legendary Engrams at about a 1/5 rate - so on average you're looking at 5 hours of play for a chance at one random Legendary that most likely you won't even want or need . - Just a few tips from a Level 28 Warlock :)
