Hey all, Not sure how much work this would take, or if it would be a waste of resources. But, after scrolling through forum posts and seeing seven of the same avatars in a row, I got to thinking. What if it were be possible to use the character viewer on the Bungie website or Destiny app to screenshot a portion of your character and set it as your avatar? I recall Aion, a Korean MMORPG, had this feature on their website. So, it isn't unheard of. It would be a feature enabled only for your character model, and would allow for more individuality on the forums! The way it could work: a box appears when you select the feature in the character viewer, and you drag your Guardian around it to select an area. You could be able to scroll in and out if you wanted to show more of your character. I really like what Bungie is doing with the companion app; it can be buggy at times, but the concept of intertwining the community here and the game is great! So, just a thought to get more use out of the app while customizing our identities here.
