OK Bungie, stop teasing us...
Legendary engrams should, well I don't know, GIVE YOU LEGENDARY! People are getting robbed including myself. Tests have been done, and only around 35% of the time you will get a legendary. I got very lucky, and got a legendary shotgun (COMEDIAN) with only my second legendary engram, but many have been wasted for rare, some upgrade materials, and UNCOMMONS! Just please make this right. I love this game and I will play it for quite some time, but I just think (with innumerable amounts of other robbed guardians) that legendary should bring you legendary, seeing how rarely they drop, we at least deserve what we worked, grinded, or farmed for. Just imagine, If you had saved up for a great car, that was promised for a great price, and when you were about to buy it, the deal slipped away, and a farmer deserves to reap what he plants, the one who waits should get what he has waited for, and so on. So please Bungie, give us what we have worked for.

I don't have a problem with the legendary engrams aside from the fact you can he given uncommon (green) items from them. This means legendary engrams have a chance to drop 4 different tiers of gear where the others are 3 at most (blue can drop an uncommon, rare or legendary). It's a massive let down to decrypt an item at level 26 with the cryptarch rank at 11 and it's a green item for around level 16. It should only be rare upwards IMO.

2 通の返信I've noticed this as well. It wasn't really a problem until I needed tons of ascendant shards to upgrade my gear. Now I have to grind for a while just to pick up legendaries so that I can disassemble them for 3 shards (if it doesn't turn blue), or play the occasional event that often gives me nothing (even with a gold rating every time).

1 返信I now forgive Bungie, because I got Red Death from a legendary engram. I am also getting the helm of inmost light today. Character is starting to become a beast (Titan) P.S. I have other characters, and Titan is not the only good one. Not dissing warlock and hunter.

I got my first Legendary gear piece from a BLUE engram drop...the Warlock bond I was actually planning to BUY. ...and the motes of light and strange coins allowed me to buy an exotic set of guantlets and an engram that turned into an exotic chest armor piece. Plan on BUYING the gear you want...and see the engrams drop (at this point in the game) as simply another form of upgrade material. If you get lucky and have legendary peice of gear drop....consider it a bonus.

3 通の返信I received a legendary weapon off my first legend engram today and also got a legendary from a rare engram. I like how it's not a set guarantee and the odds are mixed depending on your encrypt level :-)
