You know how each class has 2 sub classes and a blank? You ever wonder what that third subclass might be? While I don't know the name, I can speculate on the attributes.
Each class has 2 of the 3 attributes.
HUNTERS
The flame type Gunslinger
And the Arclight type blade dancer
TITANS
Have the Arclight Striker
And the void type defender
WARLOCKS
Have the void type void walker
And the flame type Sunsinger
Notice a pattern?
Hunters are missing void abilities
Titans are missing solar abilities
And Warlocks are missing Arc abilities
Whatever the empty spot on the subclass selection is, it has to be the missing attributes :)
UPDATE!
or what if each class gets a completely new attribute liiiiiike.....DARKNESSSS!!!!!

Personally... I'd like to see Titans get a super mode akin to sunsingers granting some combination of extra defense, regen, boosted weapon damage, etc...(Think N7 Destroyer or Adrenaline Rush from ME3 multiplayer.) I can picture Hunters getting void abilities that put less emphasis on instant damage and instead debuff enemies with penalties to damage, defense, movement, etc... Lastly, Warlocks could embrace their "mage" roots and get a dedicated healer build. As for how arc would heal people....whatever, it worked for Cole McGrath.

3 通の返信After seeing the video of the updates on the classes.. Idk if I wanna continue the class as a hunter or start a new class.. Thing is, I don't really feel like starting from square one

1 返信Darkness? That would be a contradiction to the whole point of guardians: soldiers of the Traveler with the gift to utilize the Traveler's light as a weapon

5 通の返信THEATOMBOMB035により編集済み: 11/8/2014 6:14:08 PMI can see it now Hunter third Subclass: Void Breaker - using the Void to keep themselves out of arms reach and able to keep targets within the crosshairs of their scopes Titan third Subclass: Warmonger - Using Solar power the Titan burns all in his way, leaving nothing but ash and flames as they wreak war and destruction in the name of the Traveler Worlock third Subclass: Arc Caster - channling their minds to summon the ability to use Arc energy, the Arc Caster can stun targets and then make them vanish with just a snap of their volt filled fingers

2 通の返信Well, We unlocked the 2nd subclass after reaching rank 15. Idk if there are any level 30s out there, but maybe it reveals itself when you hit that rank. Or it could be there for a future dlc

2 通の返信People seem to forget that each subclass not only must follow the arclight, void, and solar trinity, but they must also follow the close range, long range, and support trinity. The titan striker is arclight up close oriented, while defender is void support oriented, which logically means that the titan must be solar long ranged oriented (i was thinking of a giant cannon or missile strike). This also expands into the Warlock. The voidwalker is void long range oriented, while the sunsinger is solar support oriented, so the warlock's third subclass must be arclight up close oriented (maybe the warlock could generate an electric storm around himself and must run into enemies). As well as the hunter, who's subclasses take up solar long range and arclight close range, meaning that the hunter must have a void support (i thought it would be pretty cool if the hunter subclass focused on debuffing enemies, like an opposite of sunsinger). This theory, however, does have it's flaws. By this logic, arclight powers are pure close range, while void powers are almost entirely support, excluded only by the warlock's voidwalker subclass, and solar is more damage oriented than anything else. This makes the hunter and titan almost identical, having all their subclasses fall under arclight up close, solar long range, and void support. Perhaps the introduction of a new element to use or new class could help alleviate the similarities, but so far we have no reason to believe either will come true, the only thing we can assume true is a third subclass based upon the empty box in the sublclass selection area.

2 通の返信MASSiveにより編集済み: 10/19/2014 4:05:52 AMI've gone over this a lot as well. I agree about the missing damage type for each class. In addition to that, each one has two out of three of the role types. Titan=Melee and Support. Hunter=Melee and Ranged. Warlock=Support and Ranged. I think it's safe to say that each of the additional subclasses will fill in the blanks for the damage types and the role types.

I'd like to see some crazy lightning wizard shit as a super for the Warlock third subclass you know? Like rising up into the air and summoning a storm of lightening and badassery doing AOE damage. Thatd be sick

3 通の返信You should be able to take your favorite abilities from both subclasses and make a third.

2 通の返信Void super for hunters Gravity Trap Throw a large void aoe that slows move speed and if they stay in there for long they get snared. Arc super for Warlocks Unstable Magic Warlocks create an unstable current that explodes in a large aoe. Heres the kicker, the super is a suicide button, however if you kill at least 2 people in the explosion, you get a second wind revive and movement speed increase. Solar super for Titans DUNKFEST Titans go third person with a Solar ball in hand and have a chance to kill at least three foes. Dunks on the melee, three point shots on the trigger.

18 通の返信I would hope to see it like this. And seeing it as an expansion to later game content. I would hope to see that these new abilities would have to be strong or better than the other two. Also I noticed that each class also offers a solo and team work benefit to it as well. And playing each class with brains, you can manipulate either class to be a team oriented situation or a solo run. Either way the third ability should one up the other two. Hunter: Void could be used as a way to buff the team. Thinking about it the Hunter is all based on weapon use. He starts with a golden gun then moves to arc blades, all specialty WEAPONS to compliment a Hunter. So obviously his last ability would have to use some type of weapon such as a grenade. A Special Void grenade that maybe blinds people such as the ward of dawn or can deals heavy damage like the void walkers nuke. This would allow him to benefit the team with void being either a blinder or maybe a healing grenade to a high explosive grenade. Which pulls from the defender from titans and the void walker from warlocks. Defense with a little crowd control. Warlocks: Arc: I really liked the idea of electrical field around him or with his hands some said below, because as a wielder of magic he could have a perk to go invisible which would share the arc blade pattern yet be STRONG like arc blade and the striker slam. This would also follow the pattern of the warlock wielding magic with his HANDS. And to follow the pattern of Arc which shows to be extremely powerful on both arc blade and titans. I feel like a short electrical field would decimate opponents. This shouldnt deal aoe damage though around him, because arc blade doesnt. Arc is more controlled. Titans: Solar, now solar is somewhat clear to combine what the warlock has with what golden gun offers. With the hunter he has a long ranged gun and the warlock has a long ranged sun he throws around and also can use to become a phoenix. So I was thinking the titan should have something that also benefits HIM, so he cant have a long range gun. BUT he does pull his power from within his body. With arc he gathers his strength to slam the ground and with his defender he pulls from within an orb of void to protect himself and allies. Remember they have to follow what they have for there class; similar to hunters using weapons and warlocks using magic. So titans would have to pull from within there solar power which I think should include a combination of power and support. Allot of people are referring solar to long range yet in a way its also a support skill. With golden gun you can help crowd control from a distance which can be better off then arc blade. Same with sunslinger, yet sunslinger can resurrect a warlock allowing him to be more supportive in heavy situations. So Titans would have to call from within solar energy, so maybe they would look similar to a sunslinger right after he resurrects all flamed out or a gunslinger right when he activates his ability. And being it solar he would deal aoe damage and could have a perk where instead of resurrecting with a timer he could just run over dead allies and bring them back to life as one close range support perk. The rest could allow him to blind enemies or call forth a cone of fire or a wall of fire in front of him. I think the titan class would be the hardest to decide what solar could do but I imagine hes gonna be a pyro for sure.

13 通の返信Has anyone maxed out both subclasses? I'm sure its been done, but if not it would make sense that that might open the third.

4 通の返信As a main Titan, for a Solar ability, I'm personally hoping for a specially called Berserker. Like similar to Blade Dancer: 3rd Person View, Damage Taken Reduced, Melee Only, BUT no lunge. ;D
