Destiny a CoD Killer?
Simply question, i personally think that it destroys cod :)

This is a hilarious poll for a couple reasons... COD has a 10 year pedigree from the first release to now. It's not going to go away just because of this new franchise. COD's multiplayer doesn't have these RPG loot paradigms, so people who are put off by the way Destiny's loot plays a role will bail as soon as possible to COD: AW. Fact is, for multiplayer, COD will end up pulling away the vast majority of players from Destiny unless Sledgehammer somehow REALLY bungles up the delivery. But what makes it funny is Activision won't care. They get their money either way.

2 通の返信Havent bought COD since black ops which confirmed for me at least that COD could simply be a yearly map update as the campaign is laughable 3hrs long.the game hasnt changed in yrs & i got bored with the multiplayer. As far as been a COD killer,its all down to preferance.COD & FIFA sell a bucketload yearly as its all casual gamers buy,its all they know,blindly buying every yearly edition when all they are is a new lick of paint.personally im loving destiny,i think its the biggest selling new IP ever?future looks bright for it.

Even Infinity Ward's exec producer says that CoD gamers are just that, only focusing on that game ( sauce: [url]http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/10/21/call-of-duty-players-arent-hardcore-gamers-says-infinity-ward[/url] ). Destiny won't need to beat CoD because it isn't designed for that audience. Just like how Fifa isn't going to attract the Fallout audience.

9 通の返信Not even close. People voting Yes are just blind fanboys. Nothing will ever beat CoD. The only thing that can beat Call of Duty is Call of Duty. There's only one way it's going and that is if it destroys itself.

2 通の返信Nope. Ghosts was. AW doesn't have anything the entice me to want to play it either. You can not compare Destiny to CoD. They are not the same thing at all, despite some glaring similarities. CoD has been slowly killing itself.

Not to mention even for those of us who are die-hard Bungie fans destiny still only has about a weeks worth of content before you're stuck grinding for levels. Not everybody has the determination to sit there for 3 hours killing the same enemies for a random chance at the loot drop. Once a lot of people reach that point where there's nothing left for them to do they're going to go right back to call of duty.
