Hey bungie,nice job on the game. But me and my friend have one major issue with the destiny. We have been to old russia,the moon ,and venus. Died a few time. I'm a hunter,lvl 15. My friend is a living 16. I had an old russia both I needed to finish. So I took my friend back there. Now we're facing a death walker tank. And we're both using new sub classes. Mind you I'm a hunter lvl 15 and he's a titan lvl16. And we're using maxed out weapons and high defense armor. But the tank can tie us out in one hit from its main cannon.and it too quite a while to takeout the dam thing . Now the death walker tank was lvl 8. Why as it so over powered!!?? It should have died with in seconds. You need to her the death walker tank so it shouldn't be so over powered when higher leveled players fight it.

I took this thing solo at level 7 hunter and it was fun and I only died 3 times there is a technique that me and my friends use wich is there are two rooms t on each side of the battlefield one guy stays back and snipes the other two goto the two sides of the map and take down the legs the devil walker is very smart on taking down one target but multiple is where it starts to get crazy. Hopefully this works for u

have you ever played an mmo before? or any game for that matter? your using a subclass that is under leveled fighting a tank, period. it takes strategy to take it down, i could take it down at level 8 solo. did you need bungie to play the game for you?

I didn't mind it at all really. Just my friend who plays more mmos then consoles games was rages how his lvl 17 with attack of 223 attack shingen-c and was having little effect. And his defense of 799 didn't matter at all. He keeps on complaining that the game needs more balance. I noted that he switched his sub class. And that it was affecting his overall attack and defense. He stated that his sub class shouldn't have affected his weapons high attack stats. His was using a titan btw.we both have played the beta. And beat the tank at lvl 8. He figures that since that an is lvl 8. And we're visit 16 & 17. The tank should be beaten in seconds. That's his thinking.

Darksider, this is how bosses work in games. The level differences are intended to help guide you to areas. While it's odd that his level is 8, they seem to have intentionally reduced damage from upper level enemies to deter power-levelling or to encourage playing with friends regardless of level. That being said, Fallen Walkers are public event/bosses, so you'll see a difference with 3-5 high levels, but not two. You still have to whittle down the health. Even on other MMOs, level affects a lot, but some enemies are intentionally given massive amounts of health with one-hit kill techniques because they're meant to be team-killed not soloed. Even I still die from it's main cannon, but just move to the side when you see the laser beam...

Sucks that this is game is a challenge right! I was it was easier! Jeez, every says they made a great but then follow with "[i]change your gameplay mechanics? My friend and I don't enjoy the difficulty of your game.[/i]" It's a public event it supposed to be challenging!

bungie made an intricate system that makes it so that higher level players can return to earlier levels and still have fun with the game, instead of being able to kill everything in one hit, you might take two, I'm level 20 and it took me 40 seconds to kill a devil walker, but it was still tough, but that's what makes that game fun, in comparison, you ever played borderlands and returned to level 1 enemies, I couldn't find it any fun when only the last level of the game brought me a challange
